hello, welcome to join, glad to see you here, I am happy to help you if you need my help about anything in this forum. I think other members also think so. Maybe the advice I can give you first is to read the forum rules, what is allowed and what is not, don't lose your account because you didn't read the forum rules. and lastly, read a lot of writing. I guess the rest will follow.

Welcome, I don't know whether you have created an account on the forum yourself or with the help of your circle of friends or a close relative, but if you have created it yourself, I think you have done a very smart thing, because many people don't this, Having no prior idea about the forum as I had I only managed to open an account on the forum through people I knew. However, as a newbie you have already been given various sections on what to follow to learn here and there are proper directions that you should follow. If you are regular then you can get a broad idea of crypto currency world from this form and if you want to invest in bitcoin in future and expect to earn from bitcoin then you should spend time and keep learning here. In a very short time you will learn about other currencies including Bitcoin. At first you need to do a lot of reading to get the details of where and what the different members are talking about. Stick around hope you get something good from here.

Un_rank has given you good links to read. Read and understand it. Among the links, these are the most important ones:

Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

You can go to Meta and Beginners & help boards and read the pinned threads. They are also among the pinned threads. Go to other boards to read their pinned threads also.
Okay, I couldn't read the first link out of the three given by _act_ brother because I tried docker in the link, but it didn't work. Why don't you see this link? Maybe mistake proper link.

Cheer.
The first link provided by _act_ is also the same link that @Churchillvv provided for “unofficial Bitcointalk forum rules." I believe @Act forgot to add the link to the thread and only ended up closing the thread title without a link, but that shouldn’t be a problem as you can read about it from the source others provided.

The thread might be complex, but you don’t have to worry about it. Nothing too big on the forum rules; all I see on the rules is nothing much different from other groups. With time, you will have to understand every bit of the rules, and little by little, you can’t carry them all at once.

Welcome to the community, you are in the right place for every knowledge about cryptocurrency, mostly bitcoin.

Don't have much to say to you than  you should beware of scammers as the community is not entirely free from them. Kindly ignore unsolicited PM's of investment that promises unimaginable profits in return, unless where you're sure of it, even if you are sure still do your investigations.

You're solely responsible for yourself,  your growth both in knowledge and otherwise in here depends on your efforts.

And I want to tell you this for free. You might in the course of your journey get criticized, scold and attacked for one reason or another. I have seen some newbies make complain threads when they get all those criticisms instead of learning from it and fine-tuning how to improve, they just complain probably seeking for sympathy. Don't do that!

While it is possible that you may not read the links as you may be feeling overwhelmed, here's the first things you should know about the forum since you are new
- it was created by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009
- as you may have noticed, it has several sections or boards
- Bitcoin makes up the bulk of our subject here followed by discussions about mining, economics, gambling, and others.
- the forum is also a small community with rules guiding it. Moderators and other community volunteers help to keep the community clean.
