Thank you Sebdude!!  I think there are a lot of creative types who are attracted to bitcoin so I am not surprised to find someone else here who makes jewelry.  You are lucky to be able to study it locally!  What kind of jewelry did you make, and do you wear it?

You have very nice Gemstones. It is nice to see this stuff being offered for BTC. I just finished an entry level Jewelery Crafting class with my girlfriend at a local college. It was fun.

Of course you can ask me some questions here on the public forum, or send me a private message as well.  I am happy to hear from people who are interested in gemstones.  This work is not just my job, but my passion as well and I always like to communicate with people who share this love of natural precious stones!

Here is an example of a ring we very recently made for a client.  She had been "window shopping" in the Cayman Islands and brought back an idea that really appealed to her.  We exchanged a few emails and traded some pictures gleaned from google image searches, and before you know it this ring was on her finger.  She is thrilled with the result and was even more shocked at the price.

Some people are not aware that often custom jewelry costs LESS than comparable quality available "off the rack" in a jewelry store.  Think about this for a minute.  I do not have to finance my inventory of diamonds, gold, and labor to make a piece of heirloom quality jewelry.  When you select a stone that I am offering, I direct our artist to draw up the CAD image and then the model is made in wax, which is then cast in your choice of gold, platinum, white gold, palladium, or any other exotic precious metal.  Local artisans here in Bangkok finish the metal and set the stones and it is shipped directly to you via FedEx- fully insured.

When you shop for jewelry at your local store are you getting exactly what you want, or are you settling for the quality and style that is available?  In this new technology age, there is absolutely no reason to settle.  Get the stones that you want and have a unique piece of jewelry manufactured specifically for you- on your terms.

Take a look at the piece of jewelry that was born of our client's trip to the Caymans, and think about letting us serve you in the same way- on your terms, with your desires and your tastes front and center.  That's what we do best.

Please feel free to add me as a friend on Facebook.  My name is "David Fortier" and I will be easy to spot since my avatar is this very ring that you see above!  Also if you have any questions please feel free to contact me at my regular e-mail:

Because my wife and I live most of the time in Bangkok we have access to some of the finest stones that the industry has to offer.  We consistently invest in gemstones that have widespread appeal to discerning clients and that are most likely to appreciate in value because of extreme rarity and superb beauty.  This five carat tsavorite garnet is an excellent example of just such a stone.

While many gemstones are mined from different deposits all over the world, tsavorite garnet still has only a single source- in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro in the wild country of the Tsavo National Forest.  The East African nation of Kenya is home to all known tsavorite deposits and while all tsavorite is rare, it is much more rare in sizes over 3 carats.  At 5.10 carats, this stone is as suited to a museum as it is to the inventory of the most hard-to-please collector...or the most hard-to-impress spouse!  This tsavorite has the intense green color that is so highly coveted coupled with a ridiculous amount of sparkle and brilliance and is also a very clean gemstone.  It is supremely rare and you will never see such a fine gemstone in a local jewelry store as gems of this quality tend to go directly from wholesale markets in Asia to a collector's safe.

It has been said that "Tsavorite garnet is the color that emerald only wishes it could be."  The green of this magnificent example is other-worldly.

Independent 3rd party laboratory report included.  For a minimal fee, we will happily get a report from the laboratory of your choice.

This very special tsavorite garnet heart is 5.10 carats and $2990 per carat.  Please inquire today if you need any additional information or if you have questions about insured shipping, independent laboratory reports, or if you want to know more about other gemstones that I am offering.  Few dealers in the colored gemstone trade offer the levels of quality and service that I offer to my clients.  Few dealers love gemstones as much as I do, and love serving people who love them.  Let's talk about that special stone for a special person.  We can take any stone that you select and using the latest computerized CAD/CAM technologies we can create the most exquisite piece of jewelry you have ever seen anywhere, at any price- but we make it affordable.

This ruby from Madagascar weighs 2.58 carats and is NOT glass filled.  There is a massive amount of glass-filled ruby on the market now and it is not durable; if your jeweler attempts to fix a prong with his torch the glass filling will soften and run out.  This gemstone is flux-healed- a durable treatment that will last your lifetime and your heir's lifetime and their heir's lifetime- ad infinitum.  Flux-healed ruby is not as expensive as unheated ruby but is a superb choice if you want a rare, beautiful, durable ruby with natural color.

Because of the shape this ruby is very versatile and could easily become a magnificent pendant or a very alluring ring in either white or yellow gold- or platinum for the most discerning individual.  Of course we also offer palladium for those who think outside the box!

This ruby would make a magnificent gift for someone born in July!  Ruby is the traditional birthstone for the month of July and very few people own such a beautiful example of this rare stone.

This Madagascan ruby is $299 per carat and for a minimal additional charge you can get an independent laboratory report.  Large size, emerald shape, and intense red color make this natural ruby a superb value.  If you have any questions about this stone or would like to know more about my company please stop by our website:

My wife and I maintain a residence in Bangkok and in northwest Ohio (near Toledo) and we would be happy to serve you.  We source gemstones in Thailand and also build custom jewelry here using only the most quality-conscious artisans who produce heirloom quality pieces at a highly competitive cost.  I am not only a jeweler but also a Graduate Gemologist (GIA) and as such I am qualified to answer your questions about gemstones physical properties, treatments, and origin.  Fewer than one in 100 jewelers in the West are Graduate Gemologists- most have no formal training at all in gemology.

If you are looking for an emerald, ruby, sapphire, tsavorite garnet, tanzanite, or any other colored gemstone please get in touch with me.  I would be happy to serve you.  Gemstones are my passion and I love my work so it is not a chore for me to answer any questions that you might have.

This next stone has a very special place in my heart because it is the finest ruby star I have ever had the pleasure to own.  It faces up quite large and appears to be a 4-carat sized stone, but it actually weighs 2.73 carats.  It is a highly saturated vivid red color and the star is extremely sharp and well-defined.  Because Dr. Adolph Peretti is a noted authority in ruby, I took the stone to GRS Swisslab for evaluation, and the report bears his signature.  This is an unheated Mogok Burmese ruby and as such it is in the very highest echelon in the gemstone world.

This extremely rare, exclusive and elusive Burmese ruby is priced at $30,000.  Reduced to $27,000, or if paid with bitcoin 15% off at $22,950.  Inquire for additional information:

This stone is from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and has an independent laboratory report.  It weighs 2.11 carats and is cornflower blue.  It has superb color as well as outstanding clarity and brilliance.  I am a GIA Graduate Gemologist and have been a gemstone dealer and custom jeweler since 2005.  I reside in Bangkok, Thailand where I source colored gemstones at wholesale markets.

This blue sapphire is accompanied by a laboratory report from AIGS, one of the most well-respected laboratories in Asia.  The report states no evidence of heat.  Unheated sapphire is extraordinarily rare- this stone came from the ground this color; it has not been enhanced with heat.  Price is $1410 per carat.  Please visit my website:
