As the difficulty bomb removed and we can mine ether for like a year or so i will continue mine it, but when the time proof of stake arrives my thinking is this.
I'll probably mine only ethash algorithms, something like Etherum Classic, Expanse, Ubiq and Musicoin.
They are the most profitable for amd anyway. One year in crypto i alot of time and maybe there will be other profitable coins to mine with AMD.
Only time will tell, we just have to wait and see.

There are a lot of new coins with masternode worth to mine, but you must mine it in the early days after launching.

mine monero
thats best now

Yeah I'm moving to XMR. I think it's still undervalue.

Monero or ZCash.

UPDATE : I switched yesterday to Zcash, after the huge price pump

Going well so far Smiley  what about you guys ?

Choosing "what coin to mine today" depends of your personal feelings and policies. If you catching for "moment pumps" and exchanging coins to fiat currencies or bitcoin, this is a good choice. But if you believe in "undervalued" crypto's and gather them for a future times, there is no need to jump from one coin to another each few days, like a lot of miners do.

Why not Expanse???
I think it will go much higher then now and has nice futures.

EXP is good, correct, as well as EXP DAG size allows to use even 2Gb cards. Claymore Etherium miner also has an expanse dedicated option, which saves some speed for DAG re-creation during DevFee mining cycle.

zcoin when a miner comes out maybe.  There is a bounty for coding an open source miner by Sept 30 2017.

I will mine UBQ, ETC and ZEC.

Hi,

Is there an accurate mining calculator that can easily compare Zcash mining vs. dual mining eth & decred vs. dual mining eth & lbr vs. Monero for RX480?

Life would be so much easier if all the information are on a single page and in descending order. This way, we know exactly what to mine for the next 30 minutes.

does any one tried to mine something of this coins (MUSIC/ETC/EXP/UBQ) with R9 380? And how much he gets h/s?

There is no difference in hashrate if you mining with same crypto algorithm. All described above are Ethash, so the hashspeed will be same for all of them. I.e. if you mine Ether with 22Mh/s it will be 22Mh/s at EXP or ETC.

I think you are wrong here. With Different coins being on a different Epoch, coins like UBIQ's Dag File is much lower and smaller. It will have a faster Hashrate than ETH with the higher DAG File which is bigger.
This is why AMD released the Driver optimized for crypto to address the reduced hashrate for larger DAG Files. This only affects AMD cards and not really Nvidia cards.
Even with the new driver there is still a difference in hashrate if you test both coins

There is no essentially no difference in hash rate (less than 1 MH/s over 8 mixed RX 4XX/5XX 4GB and 8GB cards) between mining UBQ or ETH with the AMD blockchain drivers.

ETC will probably look good to mine for a while too maybe.

what about Ubiq?

yes what about Ubiq ? anyone try sumokoin too ?

after a little search i think ubiq is more speculative than ethereum, you can get easily 1 or more ubiq per day, but ethereum not, and if the price of ubiq up you can make good benefice

I mine with one R9 380 sumocoin, just for fun.

Here is a proof (see a link to monitor data below) - you can see the mining pools names. The upper is R9 380 2Gb card running in my desktop and mining EXP. The lower is old rig mixed with different cards. Cards 1,3 and 4 are 4Gb R9 380.
All 380 cards are mining near same speed except first one with Elpida mem (others are Hynix). All mine with blockhain driver

No, bigger DAG = lower hashrate.

At the moment I still have 5 R9-380 cards.  While 3 of them are mining ETH at 22,5Mh/s, another 2 are doing EXP at 22,6Mh/s (switched to EXP because these cards equipped with 2G memory and ETH DAG is too big for them).
Any comments about DAG size for this case?
