i have problem with my 2x Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 8GB Hynix rig.
1. I was perfectly dual mine for 1 month 60mh/s ETH + 1150 MH/s SIA, with latest drivers. Suddenly my rig goes green screen, sometimes blue screen. Downgraded drivers to 17.4.3 and 17.4.4, same problem.
But sometimes when I run only eth mining, then works, but not always. And then I can dual mine also, but it is strange that first I need to run eth only mining then close miner and start again dual mine. This is not working always.
2. One more thing, my cards are same and each gives 30.3 mh/s, but sometimes hashrate of one card drops to 27 for few second and returns to 30.3, and then again after 30-60 sec. Second card is stable to 30.3. This started to happen when I put my second card in rig, without that second card first card was also stable to 30.3.
Any help for this 2 problems? :/

You could undervolt more. My 5x570 are consuming 530w at the wall (eth) Doing 28Mh/s each. The cpu/board/ram alone consumes ~70w

i did not lot of test on rx570 because my rx470 i could not undervolt more so i just keep same voltage on rx570 and clock because it s mostly the same gpu
that screenshot was @ 1090/1950 0.831v (drops to 0.81 under load). Dual mining stable except one one card which needs more.
Dual mining increases each card by ~ 25w, so + 125w above the 530.

Another problem;
After flashing I see one of my rx580's as Polaris 10. I tried reverting it back to original bios but still the same.

Also I cannot see the fan of that GPU. Claymore only shows gpu0..Any ideas why that might happen?

I have the same problem with one of my msi rx580 armor 8gb. After one week stop to work, in windows device manager says that windows has stopped the gpu because of a problem and with ati flash (before flashing) the bios change from rx580 series to polaris 10. I try everything but nothing... did you resolve? thanks.
Got a 2nd rig running couple of weeks ago using MSI RX580 Gaming 4GB cards on a H81 Pro BTC board. I still can't get the 6th GPU to work in it, crashes on boot every time. So finally decided to take a break on that and try to tweak the cards. They ran at 22.4 each stock, then at 25ish after changing the memory straps. Now I am currently getting 27.8 on each card after running Afterburner at -30 Core Voltage, 1155 Core Clock, 1900 Memory Clock. Hope to play around with those settings some more this week. Then will attempt to try and get the 6th card running again.
Have you switched the PCI-E 16 slot to Ver2 in bios? also I am using preffered gpu Onboard. Try it
I have changed it to Gen 2 in the BIOS but have not tried setting preferred to Onboard, will give that a try, thanks.
But if you killed card, did they fixed it within warranty?

1st CASE - I bought "like new" Aorus XTR 8GB card, its LED was not working and somebody played with timings already. As it has no bios switch I am not able to return it back to original bios without somebody sending me original BIOS for this card. Its LED is not working but it is not mechanicaly broken or unplugged as if I restart PC it flashes for half second. Or do you have any idea how or where to fix that LED settings?
2nd CASE - I bought new Gigabyte G1 8GB, my pc frozen while flashing BIOS via atiflash. Now card is a ZOMBIE. No PC turn on while that card is connected. I wanted to access its BIOS and reset it but I cannot cause that cooler is sticking too hard and without removing cooler I cannot access screws which hold the backplate. Got it? So that card is dead and I probably cant reset BIOS any other way yes? Need to send it back for warranty?

The LED is user adjustable.. if the previous owner changed timings it is very likely he disabled the LED as well. Did your card arrive with the aorus graphics engine software cd? i found it made my system act funny but you can set the color of the led's, pattern of the flash/pulse and whether you want it on at all. install that software and you will be able to turn the LED back on provided it will work with the adjusted strap.

I personally would not use a daily usage computer to flash cards, particularly if you're using windows due to unknown malware or virus or even just extra services you may be unaware of running on your system.
try to have an old box with free pci slot you can boot freedos to and flash from there if possible.
as for your ZOMBIE card i'm still at a loss as to what you're trying to do. there is no jumper on the pcb to reset bios although that would be a nice option even on dual boot equipped cards.
"access" the bios has nothing to do with tearing down a card or removing it's cooler. you should be able to revive it somehow if you search around and find a similar scenario to what you are experiencing.
The thing is they came with Samsung memories. All 3 Aorus I have showing Samsung in GPU-Z and also in BIOS there is 0x21, I guess thats Samsung for sure.
I do not know which other things he could change in bios so rly if anyone have Aorus XTR 8GB PLS LET ME KNOW.
