The ITX is the cheapest here, and people are saying that even with only 1 fan they stay cooler than other 2+ fan one, and that with modded bios they can go up to 30,5Mhs. But I don't find anywhere that people that about the ITX one...so where to find the ressources to mod the bios and oc?

Guys, Can someone suggest me which card I should get for the 570s(All Rx570 and all 4Gb): Sapphire Pulse ITX 4Gb, Asus ROG Strix OC 4gb, Gigabyte gaming 4Gb, MSI Gaming X 4Gb, Sapphire pulse 4Gb, Gigabyte AORUS 4Gb, Sapphire Nitro+ 4Gb     < ----- They're listed from Cheapest to the most expensive near me Smiley

Thanks,

Just get whatever is the cheapest with 2+ fans. Vega is to be released soon and the prices will probably go down a bit anyways. All the cards above all hash around the same after mods.

RX580 Sapphire Nitro+ 8GB Hynix at 1150 Mhz Core and 2150 Memory and Voltage -75mv - Trixx
RX580 Sapphire Pulse 8GB Hynix at 1150 Mhz Core and 2150 Memory and Voltage -75mv - Trixx

Maybe not all cards can be undervolted -75mv OR maybe more then -75mv

Strap copied to 2:1750, 2:2000, 2:2250:
777000000000000022AA1C00B56A6D46C0551017BE8E060C006AE6000C081420EA8900AB0300000 01B162C31C0313F17
here is a blank, check you copy all without the blank (forum changes it?)

ETH: 30.1 - 30.3   -   100% Stable, 0 Errors, about 2 weeks

Long time i tried bios mods and many other memory straps, this one is the only working flawless with 30 MHs.
Other straps got me lower MH on memory overclock or blackscreens and artefacts

Are u sure this times are for the RX580 Sapphire Pulse? Because my card has the strap with 0:xxxx?
Can u please confirm?
Thanks

Msi Afterburn did not overclock memory on 5xx,
You have to use Trixx to make everything runs right !

I have tried it with Trixx, but same result...

I have tried to overclock my RX580 Sapphire Nitro+ 8GB with Hynix memory, but I got less mh/s then before.
I dont understand this. I tried to oc with stock bios (hashrate dropped from 22.5 to 15 mh/s) and with modded bios (dropped from 27-28 to 20 mh/s). Why?
I tried oc with MSI Afterburner, Trixx and Wattman, but always the same... On my RX480 overclocking worked, I dont understand.
Pls help.

Try rebooting after setting a new clock. I have to do this on memclock for some reason.

Thank you I will try this.

Quick question, does brand matter when choosing an RX570 card?
Saw sapphire, gigabyte and msi rx570s

Just flash them with a lower voltage !

Not that easy - AMDGPU ignores PowerPlay changes (DPM state mods), and there's no init regulator section in VoltageObjectInfo to add an offset. You gotta get creative.

Finally was able to do it though bios, takes offset just like IR3567B, just different register values, and some weird read write bit stuff as seen in http://www.overclock.net/t/1621800/would-appreciate-help-in-finding-editing-the-voltage-offset-in-the-rx480-bios/100 . Otherwise works like a charm! VDDCI seems to work too!

Junkey, could you share the strap? That's a high rate and clock for elpida

Nothing custom.  Just the 1500 strap copied up.

Can anyone help me. How are people using claymore commands to set clocks and volts. Even on claymores page it says ati blocks this now. Yet on one of my rigs claymore commands work. On an identical rig they crash it. Claymore commands crash every rig i've ever had when trying to set clocks and volts. Even if its just settings stock clocks. Yes afterburner works just fine pushing the cards hard. But i can't undervolt more than -100mv with afterburner. How else can i undervolt more?

The question is: does undervolting/clocking your core (and the resulting lower temps) allow you to clock your memory higher? I think it's really hard to gauge what effect the one does on the other.

Here is the best I've been able to do on a RX580 Sapphire Nitro+ LE 8GB with Hynix (as indicated by GPU Z) memory.

There are several things you need to do:

1) The card that I have has Samsung as the 1st set of straps and Hynix as the second set. As strap lore has it, take the 1750 and copy it over the 2000 and 2250 straps.

2) For tweaking, I use Trixx.

3) The  most critical parameter is the mem clock. For just hashing ETH, just push it as high as it will go without crashing.

Power saving:

4) I run the core @ 1060 and use Trixx to undervolt at a minimum of -100mV. The card by itself takes about 130W at the wall with these settings.

Hash rate:

5) With a memclock of 2150, I get about 27.2 - 27.5. With a memclock of 2050, about 26.

I've mucked around with the straps with no success.

Nothing here is new, but was gathered up from information scattered throughout the forums.

Is there any way to get more volts into the memory? I've got a bunch of Asus bottom-of-the-barrel RX 570 "Expedition OC" cards with Elpida mem. Applied the 1500 straps all the way up and achieved 28.5 Mh at 1300/1980 but unstable after a few min.
I'm not worried about power consumption - is there anything specific I could do to improve this?

If you want to change your memory voltage, you're gonna need to do some soldering
Ha. On 14 cards, no thanks! :-D
So I guess there is no secret from this point. Crank up power and voltage limits, fans @ 100%, find the highest possible core and mem clocks and bob's your uncle...

Typically but no one knows if this is guaranteed yet. I have some cards for example that are 1:xxxx Micron and 2:xxxx Hynix. Point is, try copying up the other strap (and use the 1500) and see if that helps, and make sure you actually have Hynix memory because your card typically has Samsung

You mean with "up copying" that I should try copy the 1500 in 1625, 1750, 2000 and 2250? (I building my first rig, sorry for that question)

Yes Im sure that I have a card with Hynix memory (GPUZ says it)
