40 cents breaks the bank?   Quite the investment you have there if the 40 cents is worth even bringing up.

When the SEC gets around, they will seize Havelock. It's 100% illegal as they are facilitating trade of unregistered securities to US residents. Doesn't matter Canadian law, if your website is accessible to US residents you have to abide by US securities laws in addition to your local laws.

So if you are wise, you would withdraw from Havelock as frequent as you can. It's entirely reasonable to expect a fair withdrawal fee.

Havelock is based in Panama.  Their staff is in Panama.  Their website is based in Panama.

US law is not global law contrary to what the US thinks.

Nice try at FUD

Can you prove their staff is in Panama and they aren't working remotely?
what does it matter if the staff is working remotely. It is like me i work remote but when people ask me where i work i have to by law tell them the state the company in not where i am at. I think it would be also like companies in usa who have certain parts of business outside to avoid IRS tax to a certain extent maybe they doing same?

Tell me someone please, how does AMHash have so low maintenance? Bitmain has 28nm miners, lower power consumption, but their maintenenance 40% more (0.69 vs 0.49 $/Ghs/month).
I respect FC, but last time some huge companies start to play against the rool (KNC, Bitmine, BFL), so its disturbing question

I think thats because they operate it in Hongkong whick provide cheap electricity plus they installled huge cooling immersion system. This shstem is saving more energy than other cooling system Smiley

At the cost of a huge upfront cost which is amortized in a couple of years.

@mabsark: not sure why you call me an idiot - i said nothing about AM reducing the GH value of a share by adding more - I said they were doing it by creating a second IPO that is  4% lower in price only days after the first IPO (and difficulty change has been less than that during this time), effectively underselling the buyers of the first IPO.

I couldn't care less about speculators trying to flip shares within a week. That's not why the service exists. It exists to put hashing power in the hands of people who want it without having to mess round trying to get miners to work or dealing with delivery issues.

finally, its probably safe to assume that AMHash1 and AMHash2 will not be freely interchangable - so rather than actually building to the promised 5PH in AMHash1, you will now see people pointlessly trying to arbitrage against AMHash2, since both assets have the exact same value (1GH) but different prices.

Havelock says otherwise.

The AMHASH2 Fund is a continuation of AMHASH1
Every unit you purchase from AMHASH2 will be swapped for AMHASH1 in your account.
You can continue to trade and receive dividends with those units right away.

It does not put any hashing power in there hands at all..they have a share of something that represents hashing power. It is not like regular cloud mining since you have 0 control of it. You pay some coins and hope that it makes you a profit. Personally I do not see how anyone but AM makes a profit from it unless you dump them the second you see a decent buy order.

How is it any different than the the hashlets you are advertising in your signature? That isn't real hashing power at all, its the idea of hashing power.

Oooo and if you pay extra money you can get a neat "skin" for your idea of a miner XD

They packed up and moved themselves to Panama a little while back--they aren't based in Canada anymore. Mind you, that doesn't mean the SEC won't try to interfere.

That being said, friedcat has already stated that there is a backup plan (probably direct shares) if havelock goes down for any reason, which makes this whole conversation a moot point. Cut off the head, two grow back, yada yada yada.

EDIT: Also, just noticed that this is Hashie bashing AMHash... There can't possibly be any conflict of interest going on.  Roll Eyes

I hope so! And you have to rethink that 0.001BTC withdrawal fees, this is after we pay transaction fees. Please consider this again..

IF you only have 1 withdrawl lets say every month then i guess you only loose $4.80 a year. Assuming the price does not go up like 10 fold. Now if you move lets say you move money 10 times a month then thats $48.00 or more depending on price. Lets say he moves money 50 times a month since ha makes so much or is sending to so many different wallets. I am sure he has his reason but i agree $0.40 cents like 1 or 2 times a month is ok

The delay in dividends on Saturday Nov 15th was a one time issue that was resolved a few hours later.

We do apologize for the delay and we will work harder to make sure the delay will not happen again.

Thank you,

Havelock Investments

did divdends get paid for the 15th today yet.

Not for me and the agreement they posted says this:

"
Payout calculation
Payouts are done daily.
"

And havelock just sent an email saying this:
"
Today's dividends announced, but payment will be finished on Monday for weekend. You don't need worry about that.
"

No idea why that is something I shouldn't worry about that or why they can't explain it.

We only saved some BTC for days dividends on platform for safety, we didn't check this account on Friday.
However, thanks for HAVELOCK's support, we pushed BTC at the weekend, yesterday's dividend was paid out.

Man! you need to check it regularly, this service is still new, don't want it to go to the other side.

It is weekend bro, give admin chance to take time for holiday hehehehehehehe
that is really no excuse if it is the weekend, in the financial world people dont want to wait 1 or 2 days. We right around the corner from 3 major holidays in the USA so does this mean we will have 3-4 days long delays since they will be out of office? I would hope not that would be sucky in my eyes.  Cry
