No,i don't think it will help to reduce gambler from playing real gamble or stop them completely.Hardcore gambler will not spare a glance with this kind of method. They only seek euphoria when winning the bet and get much money from it.The idea of this apps is to practice gambling,so i think there are no effect in case of stopping a gambler.

Perhaps it is one of the methods used by the casinos to limit the addiction problem that could get bigger.
I am not getting this statement correct, one of the method used by casinos to limit addiction? But what I only see is that the only people that will not later use their money to gamble are people that have no money, once they have money, they will just only realized they use some of their money to begin real gambling to enjoy the best fun of it rather than playing with fake money
Casinos would never use a method that will not help them profit much less limiting their gamblers or users on their addiction to gambling. Fake gambling or gambling using fake money doesn't provide the same thrill from the real thing as you'll be earning or doubling your money when gambling. Fake gambling would rather be use to promote and guide new users or any users to familiarise with gambling platform and probably create strategies for the real thing.

I am not sure such a way will work to overcome the addiction of gamblers.
addicted gambler, being in a casino is not just for fun. they have a very great curiosity about his luck at the gambling table. they will stop when the money runs out and will come again when they get more money. will constantly spend money in the casino.
addiction situations like this can only be overcome when the person himself has the awareness to get out of the gambling trap. natural for those who gamble but must play with health and good control.

What is your opinion on Fake money gambling apps, do you recognize the potential I think they have to assist in reducing the number of gamblers who loose real money?

Nah, I don't think it would minimize gambling addiction.
I have remembered playing zynga poker 10 years ago, and it does not involve any real money. Players were just using an in gamr chips. However, it turns out that a lot of people got hooked up with how fun and competitive the game was, people started selling their in game chips and a lot of people were also buying to refill their in-game chips everytime they ran out of it.
So, I guess a huge possibility for that gambling all with fake moneyor in-game currency to become exactly like the zynga poker before.

I absolutely agree with you. Even if we replace real money with fake money the game will not lose the excitement because this fake money gets its value. Naturally such games are not able to rid the gambler of his addiction. Moreover, such games can addict a person who has never gambled to them and encourage him to play for real money.

In my opinion, gambling with fake money is a kind of training ground for testing various strategies.

Fake money gambling apps can still give you the same addiction as the real thing but the good news is that we don't use real money but fake money provided by the casino.
We already know it is available in many casinos that offer users to play in demo mode so that we don't have to make a deposit just to play gambling.
But the curiosity or the feeling of wanting to get a real win will come to them and whisper to them to deposit real money to feel the thrill and excitement of using real money.
Perhaps it is one of the methods used by the casinos to limit the addiction problem that could get bigger.
But gamblers must also realize this so they can be responsible with their money.

A better suggestion and an alternative to quitting gambling completely is to start betting with fake money gambling apps. With FAKE MONEY GAMBLING APPS, you can continue gambling on the app even on live games, but with fake money.

There's no better alternate to quitting an addiction than quitting itself. Fake money aren't real and that will only make you want to put in real money. I remember when I won my trades with demo accounts in the forex market and immediately got motivated to go in with real money. That's how these demo accounts trick us into inputting real money. With demo/fake money, you can easily win as you take risk you won't normally take with your real money but when you want to go in with real money the outcome changes.

I think the only potential it has is bringing in new gamblers that'll think winning is as easy as it is with fake money when gambling with real money. Gamblers coming with such mentality could be easily destroyed in the industry and it'll defeat the whole purpose of you introducing people's to this apps in the first place.

With FAKE MONEY GAMBLING APPS, you can continue gambling on the app even on live games, but with fake money. So in reality you can maintain the experience you derive from gambling and not loose any money except the fake one in the process.
No addict will make use of this, addicts gamble for a reason that such apps can not provide, addicts gamble to earn money, gambling is giving them a false reasoning, thinking they can be using gambling to earn and become a rich person, but which is not.

Although the original idea behind the creation of such apps was to provide a platform were individuals can practice their betting skills without loosing money before actually gambling with real money, i still find it useful to those trying to quit because they keep loosing money.
Just like demo, it should only be used for only practising and nothing more than practising.

It can not work out at all, for an addict to cure his gambling addiction, the best is to stay away from gambling for a long period of time.

Actually gambling using fake money is the start where many people want to try gambling and get addicted because of their poor self control, playing with fake money have nothing to risk and they will keep spin or playing it until they will got the high multipliers. After they got it and think the high multipliers can recover their previous losses, moreover they even earn profit, they will try to deposit with real money.

It seems to me that fake apps can't wean off gambling and get rid of addiction, but rather lead to an even greater desire to gamble. By playing such apps a person will continue to watch the whole process of gambling, but with fake money, so he will want to risk more and go back to playing for real money. Bad habits will be a reminder.

Fake apps I think that they do not work in for the long term, sure they can make you spend some time with them for a couple of days but then I think people will switch to play with real money.I say this from my personal experience when I wanted to quit playing slot machines, and there are demo versions of all or most of our favorite slot that we can play with fake money, they sure can keep us entertained for some time but they do not fill the heart of a gambler with the emotion you get by playing with real money.I think fake apps just do the same as these demo versions of slot machines.

I don't think this going to work to be honest. Someone who is struggling with gambling addiction needs to stop gambling no matter what, there is no compromise along the way. It's like saying to an alcoholic just drink non alcoholic beers and drinks. The problem is that the behaviour of addicts is compulsory and they won't be able to stop when they start again, even if it is just with play money. The idea sounds nice at first because the gambler wouldn't lose money and can still be able to gamble, but I don't think they will be able to keep it up to stick to only play money. Imagine playing a few days with play money and winning a lot of chips, you know it's not real and your brain will ask you why didn't you play with real money. How can we guarantee that an addict can only play with fake money and not sign up at another casino to gamble with real money again?

The only thing that it might help gamblers is that they can continue to play with their favorite slots. I've seen people playing fake money inside a traditional based casino. Which means that they don't have the money to continue and maybe just waiting for someone or doesn't want to go home (worse idea). But as others have said, it's not the same feeling with playing with real money, so there's no excitement, you are just going to the moments of pressing the button.

Gambling thru games that doesn't involve real money might probably help other gambler to avoid gambling with real money and stop them from doing it. However, I doubt that it will work for everyone especially those who has gambling addiction. There are various applications that offer gambling games without betting real money especially with card games however these players still try to use real money to top up when losing. Also, one of the reason why gamblers gamble is to earn money through these games, which is also why these might not probably assist or help on aiding their gambling addiction and activities.

It is annoying as hell because most of them have lots of ads pop up.  Besides it doesn't help to prevent people from losing money it triggers them to play with real money instead.  If we want to play fake money, why do we need to download another app when most casino provides fun money to test their casino slots game.  I don't think it is necessary to download apps just to play with fake money because it is already available in most of the casinos we know.

If you are already addicted, the best option is that you should try to stop gambling at all costs and there will definitely be a way with serious and sincere intentions.
Switching to playing gambling with fake money is not an effective way to stop gambling or fixing a wrong gambling game that actually playing gambling is wrong, because playing with fake money has a very different sensation and there is no risk and will be in vain, because it will playing uncontrollably and arbitrarily because and using fake money which I don't think will do any good if you continue to gamble, so try to stop trying to do positive things or find busyness to divert.

Even some of the gambling sites in this forum has such feature where we can bet with the money which isn't real and all the process resembles how it goes with real money but it doesn't really help with the addiction in my opinion, because most of the time the root cause of someone addicted to gambling is to make more money with less capital and less time so they aren't going to be interested with those games basically they will keep trying their strategies until they realize the gambling will never work in that way.

maybe your idea can be effective for some people and not effective for others. because sometimes many cases happen to someone who is not familiar with gambling and he plays a gambling simulation application and ends up being a real gambler and addicted. However, this is worth trying when used in reverse, i.e. used by people who are used to gambling and when they want to stop gambling and lose money, they try the application as you suggested. but I feel the chances of success are slim.

but maybe it can be effective for bit by bit diversion. and slowly.

I myself prefer to keep myself busy or find other hobbies that take up my time so that the time for gambling becomes less and finally I can let go because I find other hobbies that are more interesting.

I have to agree with the others, it won't be an effective alternative to actual gambling because even though you could win tons from playing with fake money it's not as rewarding compared to winning with your own money. It'd probably help a small number of gamblers but I don't think it'd be an effective solution overall as most gambling sites already have ways to let you try their games without spending. If anything, it'll only help you experiment and maybe encourage you to play in a certain way before playing with your money.
