There you go. Once again, there is another thread about how you can teach your kids about Bitcoin, and people started using the Learn Bitcoin word, and I started getting notifications. Can't we search if a similar thread was created before or not? Most of the time, we discuss the same thing we discussed a few weeks ago.

This is not the first nor the last time. We are going to see similar threads in the future as well. Can you guys please pay more attention in the  board before you create another thread to discuss same thing?

Fun fact: throughout the video the figure who played satoshi in the video didn’t reveal his face once, it’s either there’s an obstruction or it’s cut off from the screen.
The reality is that Satoshi's figure cannot be published, even with animation. Since Satoshi could be an organization or an individual, it would be appropriate for the video not to show his face. I think you should know better if you really know Bitcoin and its history. Or if you haven't learned it yet, spend some time why everyone in the world can't point out who Satoshi is, face, organization or whatever.

Returning to the topic of educating children from an early age is quite important, although not mandatory. However, at least if his father is a Bitcoin fan and wants his successor to follow the same path, then the Bitcoin learning process is worth implementing.

I really don't understand what is the benefit of teaching bitcoin to children, why does it always become a topic of discussion when at their age it is only suitable for basic knowledge of life and most of the time their mission is to have fun and explore the world. I would love to know the people who are coming up with the idea of teaching bitcoin to children, have they done that with their children? Or do they not have children and know nothing about how to raise a child? Bitcoin is just a currency, and while they don't know what currency is, how can we teach them more complicated things?
Those who legitimately taught their children about Bitcoin, it's because of their passion and like for Bitcoin. It's just fine to teach them about Bitcoin but if they show no interest after introducing it to them, that's where one should stop. That's just like teaching something new to them and if they think that they should stop learning from it then that's how it goes. And those that haven't got a child yet, maybe it's on their plan that when their kid grow up a little bit and understands some things already and that's where they're going to teach them.

Most people especially kids have heard about Bitcoin or crypto currency without really knowing what it is about or how it works.recently I came across a particular video which I found online.it was an animated video giving a very brief and basic knowledge about the concept of Bitcoin. It talked about why Bitcoin was created, how Blockchain works ,as well as mining.I saw it as a good approach to teaching young ones or even newbies about Bitcoin.Without saying much here is a link to the video.

op To me teaching bitcoin to kids is nothing but stupid. Because children do not want to study properly under the guise of play. They cannot focus on something as important as Bitcoin. They are just busy with sports, if you try to teach them about Bitcoin, you will fail completely. Bitcoin should be taught at a time when you can make your own decisions. If you don't understand the importance of bitcoin, you will spend all day explaining it to kids and they won't understand anything about bitcoin. Sixteen to seventeen year old boys and girls can be taught about Bitcoin then they will slowly understand the importance of Bitcoin.

Teaching Bitcoin to kids would be actually an advantage for them, but not all kids at a young age comprehend and understand complex things. It's not really advisable and recommendable to apply the knowledge of Bitcoin at an early age since in the crypto industry it is not just a simple game as you involved money for profit and losses. Plus as a parent, they should know that if their kids are really interested or not, they shouldn't be forced to understand things that are really complicated for them to understand. I think the proper age for them is when they are already 18 because I think that's the age they would feel like an adult and have their own decision in their life. Where you can simply introduced Bitcoin and learn on their own phase.

If parents want to teach about bitcoin, they have to wait until their children are of age to know about economics, markets, the meaning of money, and so on.
Parents must also be wise in teaching things, including teaching about Bitcoin, by adapting it to their age. But if they see something written about bitcoin and ask their parents about it, this could be a way to introduce bitcoin to them and show them the video so they can understand a little about bitcoin.
Later, if they are curious and continue to ask more about bitcoin, their parents can teach them other basic things to increase their knowledge about bitcoin. It will give his children an understanding of bitcoin and they may be ready to receive further lessons about bitcoin.

Thanks for sharing the video I think it is important to teach young people and beginners about Bitcoin. It is really interesting how technology has changed to make digital money like Bitcoin. It is good for everyone to understand how it works. And for childrens is much better idea if they will learn about the Bitcoin so when they will become elders so they can even invent much better things. And can evolve the technology much better. They can give much better ideas to make some better world. Some of them can also become hackers too who can make some big security softwares which can give more security to exchanges to other crypto industries. Which can prevent them from hacking.
By the way our new generation much have knowledge about the Blockchains technology. So this is the right way to teach them.

In my opinion this is a good direction.
By doing this, children and future generations will gain knowledge about the world's financial activity and inflation, and learn about the benefits of Bitcoin and the noble purpose of Blockchain.

This cartoon video is awesome! It breaks down bitcoin for newbies so well.
But you know, most people, like around 90%, probably did not stick around for the entire video.
I have noticed a bunch of people who have no clue about economics, stocks, taxes, and all that.
It just seems like some folks are not curious enough to dive into new stuff and learn about it.

With so many animated videos like that, young people can be attracted to learn more about Bitcoin. If it interests them, they will definitely look for more information. They are young people with a high curiosity about something and will try to find out more about Bitcoin.

Of course, they still need to be accompanied by an adult so they can explain what they don't understand. And I saw that on YouTube, there are many basic video tutorials about Bitcoin. It is a great step to spread knowledge about Bitcoin to young people.

But we should not force them to watch the video if they are not interested. Let them search first while we accompany them. Maybe we can set the video so that there is curiosity about the video.

It is really good to let children know about Bitcoin but I think making them involved in the Bitcoin economy in such early age makes no sense.  First kids has no capability to finance themselves, they are still reliant to their parents and should be enjoying their child hood.  Let them get interested on Bitcoin industry by themselves, I believe the right time for them to participate or get involved in Bitcoin will come one day but as a kid, let them enjoy being a kid.
You are right, it would be better for children to enjoy their childhood first so that they don't get bored quickly when they know about Bitcoin well, because children should have the desire to play rather than have an income and they will never think about it. how to earn income because they are still under the responsibility of their parents, if they have the desire to know about Bitcoin of course there is no harm in explaining it to them because this will be very useful for them someday.
It does not seem to me there is any harm in teaching kids valuable economic lessons at such an early age, we know very well most people will have to work 30 to 40 years before they retire, if they have any chance to retire at all, so teaching good habits regarding their finances at such an early age is a good thing in my mind.

This way when they grow up they will be able to take better decisions than their peers, begin to save, invest and obtain better results for themselves and their family.

Of course they won't harm the children, but they also have no effect, it's just a waste of time for us and them. At school age, tuition, living expenses, and every meal still depend on your family, what did you think and do at that age? Why do you have the thought of forcing children who are still in their playful age to learn things that are not necessary for them?

Have you ever thought why the education sector doesn't teach university and high school programs to elementary and middle school students? Financial education and introducing bitcoin investment is something we should do with our children, but we need to wait for them to mature at the appropriate age.

This is a pretty brilliant idea as an early introduction for children to learn about Bitcoin. The concept is quite good, animated videos are really liked by children, they will understand more quickly about Bitcoin through simplified tutorials through animated videos. The knowledge they gain from the tutorials explained in the video can speed up the learning process when they are ready to learn all the knowledge about Bitcoin.

At this age, let them do whatever they want, inserting animated videos into their daily lives will also speed up the learning process for them. Newbies who want to learn about Bitcoin should combine the simple explanation in the video with reading articles related to the function and use of Bitcoin to speed up their understanding process.

It does look fun watching that cartoon, but would kids under 10 really grasp concepts like computers, money, economics, and such? It seems like material more geared towards adults, just packaged in a cartoon format. While the explanation is easy to understand, it doesn't guarantee that all kids, especially those not interested in IT, would delve deeper into it.

For the full video of the clip, you can find it here: "The World’s First Kids Cartoon about Bitcoin!"

It's not a bad idea, but as of now, I wouldn't force this onto kids under 10. Perhaps when they're around 13, it might be more suitable. Not pushing... but just paving the way for them if they're genuinely interested in learning about Bitcoin technology and blockchain. I'd be there to help.

I have also seen this video last month on Instagram. The way it was explained is clear and easily understood not only for the kids but also for adults who know nothing about Bitcoin. It's a good way to educate the basics to at least remove the doubts they have because some people still think of it as a tool for illegal activity.

The video can be used if there's someone you know asking about Bitcoin, this way, anyone doesn't even need to explain repeatedly or advice to do some research. Using this video on Instagram will explain the basics and if they get interested, they can handle the rest of the research with a basic understanding.

Paradigm shifts in the search for and delivery of information have now changed, where previously people preferred to read, now they prefer to watch shows and the explanations they make. Yes. Good job from you OP and let the film do the talking and it is the easiest thing to convey especially for children so that it is easy to understand and understand as well as early education for basic knowledge about the concept of Bitcoin

Cartoon/animated films are very synonymous with children, of course this is a bit wrong, I think people from all walks of life will like animated films. Animated films sometimes contain a lot of educational value for anyone who sees them, even if some don't. The animation that OP inserted in the thread is very informative and can be easily digested by anyone, including newbies who want to get to know Bitcoin. Gradually, Bitcoin lovers have a way to educate and spread information related to Bitcoin in their own way.

This is definitely a great piece for not only children, but all beginners. Its very simple and easy to understand and the saying that one image is worth a thousand words is made evident here as proper imagery and illustrations were employed to drive the point home. Short and straight to the point too. Nice one and thanks for sharing.

It's refreshing to watch educational content that simplifies complex topics like Bitcoin and blockchain.
For my part, perhaps I'll just let my future children and nephews/nieces discover things about it, just like how fate led me here. My nephews/nieces are still young, so they don't know much about the financial aspect yet. If ever they find out about what I do in the crypto industry and if they become interested, like asking questions, I wouldn't hesitate to share what I know to the best of my knowledge. They already have cell phones, but they only use them for watching cartoons on YouTube and Netflix. Kids nowadays are really different; they're exposed to gadgets, and they easily adapt to new technologies, so maybe they're not that difficult to teach. But, of course, it still depends on their level of understanding.

As a person who loves watching anime and cartoons, I totally love the concept.

Don't get me wrong. I watched the reel, and TBH, it wasn't intended only for those children out there. It can also be watched by those teenagers out there who have little to no idea about Bitcoin. It can also be watched by those adults who want to learn Bitcoin. I mean it's for everyone.

I only watched the reel, which shows the basics of Bitcoin and I would say that it's informative. I don't like the fact that OP specified the kids where in fact he can say "Most people", but nevertheless, it's a big help for those newbies out there regardless of age... I guess.
