There is a possibility for it to happen in the future but we cannot really tell when and how it will happen, if people will continue to support and keep buying and selling bitcoin then the probability of becoming obsolete is very small.

Yes might be when Quantum computers gets invented.But the researches to make bitcoin codes Quantum proof has started from now itself and we could expect a safer bitcoin in the future.

Bitcoin is one of the best cryptocurrency available in the Market.I don't know why people think in negative manner. Some people took it positively and some are negative. An analyzer believe that bitcoin will be a global currency and another one thinks quite the opposite. I think you have to think in positive manner to succeed in life too. And we just should wait to see the future.

Blockchain technology was the backbone of bitcoin cryptocurrency and it existed almost 10 years then we could say that 10 years technology without innovation is considered obsolete. Then his analysis is quite valid. There is Tangle by IOTA and other cross-chain inter-connectivity development and this will be the next thing in this crypto world.

I do think blockchain technology being obsolete is an inevitability though, but unlike Friedman, I think it's going to take a couple of lifetimes, and it's going to be because of a similar but superior technology being invented.

Never mind what Friedman said he's no the first to say negative thing about bitcoin/block chain and he won't be the last. However, thats what does political people usually do when they are still in office, you remember what US. President Donald Trump’s former chief strategist, Steve Bannon once said when he was still in office?

very good point, I agree with you. Blockchain will surely get obsolete one day, but the question is when the day comes and I can't see that happening in our lifetimes.

It is not a hidden fact from us investors and enthusiasts that the ever-changing tides of the market makes it hard for some coins to thrive. I think it is just fine as incompetent and dying cryptocurrencies will give way for better cryptos to come. If this does happen to bitcoin, which is not impossible considering how mediocre at best the said cryptocurrency is. This would mean that a better crypyocurremcy would be up for the rise. At first this may seem scary but in a few months or years people will see the difference.

This is possible though, considering the fact that it is only competitive in the market because if how established the coin itself is. Have it compete in the current situation without the high value, it would be sure that bitcoin would die so easily. Compared to other coins of this generation, it only mediocre at best. And without the high price, it would be sure to die. So this should be an eye-opener and make people look for better opportunities outside the bitcoin world.

Newsflash - encryption evolves and so can the systems that use it. How many 'experts' have weighed in by this point in time? It must be well into the tens of thousands. How many have made a worthwhile contribution that made the people who really know their stuff think? None as far as I can tell.

The analyst may be true. But it will never be true at this time. Bitcoins will be outdated as new platforms are created and more stable than Bitcoin. It is possible that in the next 20 years new this platforms will be created

maybe you mean a very drastic decline because bitcoin is growing in popularity for trust and usage will still be plentiful even though the price drops some of the news you read is not necessarily the truth so I suggest you keep believing.

Analysts in crypto usually sound like they are just expressing biased opinions, not true analysis.
I have never heard about a model successfully predicting btc's price on a regular basis.
