From my short experience, I know that in 2017-2018 when BTC reached $ 20k, the altcoins season started 3 months earlier, the reason is simple, the BTC was in an uptrend, as long as the BTC continues to grow the altcoins will follow its direction , if BTC makes a correction, the altcoins will rise much more, because investors shelter their money there to increase a x2, x3x, 5 and whatever has to go up, then for me based on this I have as a premise that if the altcoins go up and Entering that season means that BTC is in its uptrend season and after that it will most likely enter the Distribution stage, for me that is the logic.

If the altcoin season really comes, I am sure many of us will wait and prepare our coins, and perhaps, we will see another big pump at the market. It's because the money right now is on those 2 prime mover coins.
BTC got a positive news about a Bitcoin ETF approval from SEC, so a new inflow of money will be coming, maybe some altcoin holders are shifting back to BTC to take advantage of the demand.
ETH and the rest of the top altcoins are also moving, same principle. And all those altcoins that are going up are either being pump by some groups or there is some kind of development behind.
The rest are just like that, shitcoins and meme coins.

Shit coins like Doge and Shiba Inu are in Media all over world becuase they are driven by huge whale like Elon Musk whose tweets drive their price to sky high despite the fact that fundamentally these coins are very weak. Talking about the start of Alt coin boom, I think it is too early to expect rally in alts until we see Bitcoin breaking its all time high record and staying their for sometime will bring down the Bitcoin Dominance Index and the money will start flowing towards Alts and trigger a huge rally.
As of now, we have some hype which is just because of few shit coins which are working good for few whales and many newbies feeling it's good for altcoins just because of this many peoples also predicting and analyzing which is growing this hype but real investors and crypto community is not having any solid reaction about this all because they understand what is going on and how is this going to be ended.If any one going for investing then surely he needs to do some good research and then invest because investing in meme coins is never been good idea for anyone, hopefully newbies will also never try with these shits.

From the chart that you have posted using the ascending triangle technical tool, it signals a breakout to the lower side and a retest of the trendline, based on the technical analysis concepts, this looks like a signal to sell the cryptocurrency because a bearish sell power indicates lower prices to come
Altcoin season started a long time ago mate. Most of the top-rated coins pumped a lot, now all of the coins showing growth. Today when I scrolling Twitter, Most of the traders talking about alt season. They are very bullish on altcoins right now.
