If you look at the current trend, namely the price of altcoins rising following the price of Bitcoin, I think the altseason is indeed happening. A good development in the market is the increase in the price of some altcoins by tens of percent or even hundreds of percent, and this creates record highs for many altcoins.

And remember, it still depends on the alt itself. Not all of them can follow the btc market. So you need to do your research also before jumping on any alt. There is no such thing as defined alt season. Much better if you can keep up with the coins that you are holding. At least you have idea where the coin is heading. Analysts can claim what they want but they won't be responsible if you lose money in this market.

It really looked like it is because it is. Just when bitcoin hits its high, then the altcoins will also have their moments for their own season. And that's exactly what we're seeing today.
But do not overjoyed because usually when it happens, they're not taking that long but we'll see if this season is different.

The surge in altcoins has led many traders to forecast the dawn of a new altcoin season. According to "The Moon" a pseudonymous Twitter analyst, altcoin seasons follow a major run-up in the price of BTC, especially when the price stalls or pulls back.

I don't know about a full alt season again upon us.  Just had a couple good run ups, would be crazy to have another one.  I'm ready for it but cautioning against it.  Could be a massive bull trap.  Markets can't keep going up can they?

I don't think there is an altcoin season at this time there is still bitcoin that continues to rise, why do I see there has not been a significant increase for altcoins, there is indeed a slight increase in eth but that is the effect of eth burning not because of BTC
It's a little confusing at the moment, when is the altcoin season, I think it's the same time

I wonder when will people realise that these "analysts" only "predict" and "announce" when trends have already started. It's like saying water is wet, it's quite obvious when you see >90% of the coins green on CMC..

Always to hear such prediction "to the moon" when seeing the trend going up. People are expecting a continuous market incline when seeing this, maybe they are right or wrong knowing that we are in the market volatility.

Although we can see that most of the altcoins are in following the trend of Bitcoin, showing a positive response, we should be careful on what coins to invest in. Some altcoins are just in the ride, some traps might be set up and that is why we only have to choose those coins that it is very popular or that are already been proven otherwise, we are got invested in shitcoins.

I don't know who is The Moon but the general market trend is up atm, so waiting for another bull market can be reasonable. After few months, probably market will boom and BTC will touch the $100k price. I suggest checking the analyses by pro traders, better to be careful than sorry.

Just make a simple approach and things will be easier, there's no need to check on experts analysis, by experience alone, we would already know if the market is bullish or not, and IMO, we are currently in the bullish state where altcoins and bitcoin are bullish recently.

Bitcoin's movement in one month is very positive.

From July 25, ($34k) to August 24 ($50k)

Yes but what we also have to consider is that when an alt coin gains 30% in a week or even a month that is huge these days. Take whatever coin you want, let's take BNB or Litecoin for the sake, they have such a gigantic market cap already that we are already in a bull state when others doubt it and are still expecting too much. I hear that often in the discussion topics.

Most of coins respond to the fluctuation  in the price of Bitcoin the upward or downward and over the past few days the Bitcoin has been in an uptrend which I think is the reason why a lot of altcoins are going up. However if you were to consider the Macro timeframe of bitcoin prices the structure has already broken into a downtrend last month and the upward push could Simply Be A retracement before the bear market starts officially so I will be careful by investing altcoins now and always sell take profit as the price goes up

You might be right, but base on my little experience in cruptocurrency altcoin rise as bitcoin rises the major difference is that bitcoin rise in geometric rate, altcoin rise arithmetic or below arithmetic rate, so that is just the difference, so I don't dispute the fact of alt season without bitcoin, only time will tell. But its has not been so before.

A rudimentary analysis of the objectives we've outlined is also required. Not only that, but it's also crucial to keep an eye on the state of the goal price. So, for me, deciding on a long-term goal would be preferable, assuming that the coin is decent. As a result, we do not devote a lot of time to it.

I think the price of altcoins is largely determined by the price of Bitcoin. When the price of Bitcoin goes up, the price of altcoins is also relatively up and vice versa if Bitcoin goes down, the altcoin will also go down. I don't know why this is just a coincidence or indeed a decree, but things like that often happen from my observations so far. Altcoins are no less good than Bitcoin, some even say that Altcoin's performance is better than Bitcoin even though the price is far apart. So if there is a good opportunity to invest in altcoins or Bicoins, don't miss it, it might be your golden opportunity.

Generally, I check only monthly support and resistance on that basis I decide whether to hold or not but at present market seems good and market sentiment is also positive and I don't follow the wedge pattern even we all know this market drives by the demand most the time market does not follow the chart patterns. At present only most of the top Altcoin are moving otherwise most of the coins gains value in USD but drops in Satoshi. On the basis of my experience I would say when BTC will start consolidating Alts will start moving.

yes, this dominance of the crypto market gives Bitcoin a lot of influence and control over altcoins. often happens as you say when there is an uptrend in the market the first trigger is Bitcoin and other altcoins following an uptrend. Altcoin prices are closely related to Bitcoin prices, Altcoins often follow Bitcoin price movements with small to large differences, even reaching prices that are many times the previous Altcoin price.

It is absolutely optional that the altcoin season begins after the rise in the price of bitcoin. In 2017, the altcoin season began after the price of BTC declined and against this background, the price of altcoins began to increase not only against bitcoin, but also against the dollar.

This means that altcoins can affect the value of Bitcoin prices, if you look at the content of the posts you share, this is not wrong in the general picture, even almost everyone says this, moreover an analyst has started talking on twitter, this greatly affects people's actions in decision making.

Today if we look at the market conditions, almost all altcoin prices are rising, even bitcoin is no exception. And vice versa, if altcoins go down then bitcoin will also experience these effects, all of this shows a very close level of influence and dependence on all of them.

The increase in bitcoin prices has a strong influence on the prices of other top altcoins, I see the current market situation showing its value is back including altcoins. other than that bitcoin trading volume in the last 7 days has reached 5% - 6% and there is no doubt that this month bitcoin can reach $50k and be followed by other top altcoins.

all altcoins are dependent on BTC price, with current BTC price surge it seems some altcoins have thrived and we are starting over, can invest in quality altcoin projects and project The project during the BTC rally season will bring us all pretty good profits. I have been in this market for a long time and I have learned from experience that when the price of BTC drops, very few people want to take the risk to buy altcoins or new projects, but when BTC rises again so That's when investors flocked to altcoin investments.
