worry about the long term trend not these short term fluctuations.
long term btc up and good REAL alt projects will follow or even exceed it.

At long last but as usual a massive regrowth is expected pretty soon.Buy more, hold longer, don't be sad.I lost close to 30% of my portfolio value since the dip occured but Im still hanging on tight.that is a very healthy correction too for everyone.

after huge gains for a couple of days the profit takers always come...

also xmas is a pain in the ass
What has xmas to do with this? People withdrawing money to buy gifts?

People withdrawing not only to have a great xmas but in a fact to cashout they'r earnings from this enourmous flucatation of the price

I though Santa Claus would be somehow involved in the Christmas Bitcoin Selloff. He is usually involved in whatever happens at Christmas.

Phew, lost about 20% of my investments today and i am pretty spread. Luckily im a believer in newer tech and in holding on. In fact, this might make me buy a bit more!

Hope not everyone is sad.
I'm sad, I also lost some of my savings. And now it is very difficult to withdraw bitcoin because of the large number of people wishing to do transactions

I also feel the same way, maybe not as big as the others because I never leave too much in my savings into investments so it won't feel deep sadness. indeed we recommend if you want investment do not keep too big. but I believe this will be immediately recovered

I don't know, this isn't really that actually.
I have a feeling that things will crash even further.

There are still quite a number of coins that are pumping, mostly lower priced coins that noobs are buying into.
Last price correction devastated alt prices for a month and a half.
The various forks also sucked money out of alts into bitcoin.
I mean, monero was floating around 80 to 90 dollars for a long time.

Now, for all of those who bought up alts a month ago, they should be incredibly happy.
Since a lot of the coins are still at a good price and btc has gone down, the price per btc should be terriffic now.
It would be a great time to sell them for btc for a profit.

Then when the alts crash, buy them up again and the entire cycle continues!

Well, as you can see, the fall was not long and the market is stabilizing again. I myself thought about whether I need to sell something to buy cheaper. But I did not find the coin with which I'm ready to part in the purse. Smiley

Yes, you can not always expect growth of your profits. This correction is healthy and good for all of us (buyers and holders).
indeed the correction is healthy and not too bad always and it happens all the time with bitcoin when it rises si quickly and so fast than it is corrected.

I agree with the opinion that the correction was expected and that the price can not constantly grow. It is very interesting what the situation will be in the new year with both bitcoins and altcoins.
Yeah this correction was coming for a long time , i'm just curious if this was it . Just waiting to see what will happen when the market drops a lot more. I think a lot of new people will panicsell.

Yep, i lost more than $10,000 on my whole portfolio, it is really hitting me. I am just waiting for a stable price so i can sell all my btc's during that time.

Phew, lost about 20% of my investments today and i am pretty spread. Luckily im a believer in newer tech and in holding on. In fact, this might make me buy a bit more!

Those are just hopes.. everyone in here is just blaming theirselves only for have being purchasing bitcoins on the past, only because it dropped a few in the last few days.

Hope not everyone is sad.

Dont you see that it touched more than $20k a few days ago? This is only a take-profit situation. I dont know if this is really happening, but at least i am 100% sure of that.

Anyone with an ounce of knowledge could say that a correction was coming, but in fact I don't think it has hit yet, it is simply the start and the real correction will be much harder and more painful, alt coins had too much of a good run this last week and need to return to some level of normality.

How far will this correction go though? You may look at the varying means but I am under the impression that the market wil bounce after Christmas.

The same story was the last year. Everybody expected a deep fall around new year cause of holidays and gifts shopping, but the price just rised and broke a new record of 1000$. It may seem logical that people need money to buy gifts, but actually it has nothing with the price. I expect a new record after this correction.

do not grieve, when the price drops because many people are selling, this is an opportunity for us and the right time to buy. do not easily instigate a bad issue.
buy low, sell high or buy hold, buy hold, hold hold hold  Tongue

there will be no huge correct because there are simply too many people piling in right now.

stamp, coinbase kraken anywhere you can get fiat in all over loaded ....

of course all super pumps have some pull back though.
