ok we're making some nice progress now guys. after studying the code i finally decided to do the next fork myself using Banzai's code he implemented in the 1.3 version. so basically v1.5 is ready now but im going to ask an experienced pos dev to do a quick scan to see if i missed anything.

please make sure repairwallet cleans orphans from wallet.dat,
pretty standard for a good pos wallet but not in 1337 until now

working on that now, thanks for the reminder.

last week i found someone to work on the webshops payment gateway and hes nearly done with that. just some finishing touches to connect the API's. and one of our community members is working on something nice too, i cant say much about it but ive tested it last night and its nearly ready for release.

thanks for your patience and ongoing support Smiley

Nice to hear that dev.. thank you also that you're not giving up on your project. hoping for the best and succes of 1337. Keep it up Grin

Maybe disabling staking at X (calculated richlist weighted amount and  total supply) amount..

It would be hard to tell an exchange how to run their wallets/business. So take the choice from them. It's odd someone dumped a ton of 1337 causing that price decline. Panic sells happen but velvet is active to his project. After it all, suddenly, the ccex wallet was in maintenance.

I would tax the sh** out of large transactions. Call it an "anti money laundering/anti-dump" fee haha.

I'm no public figure, but I thought I would post my two cents.  I've been watching since the till days.

Good work velvet. Keep up the good work.

Given the Strb situation larger balances have a huge effect on our staking coins.

Any word from your coder dev? Grin

sadly,no. but im looking at some other solutions atm

that was a joke pal,
seriously i wouldn't give them anything, delist and halt any relations with that place,
i understand mentality of the admin guy very well, mostly grab-n-run where possible,
this coin dev probably lives in a more civilized world, good for him but makes him less aware...

same goes to yobit

believe me when i say that i felt exactly the same way but looking at the bigger picture we simply need c-cex. not only because there are currently around 1 billion of our coins on there, the only other alternative (with decent volume) we have at the moment is yobit and some people just dont feel comfortable with them...

Hi all
There's a new exchange in town could be worth trying to get 1337 on there?

https://beta.rawx.io

i read about their relaunch. honestly, after reading some of the comments i think it might be better to see how things evolve around there. but on the other hand we cant be too picky i guess.

i just got back home and need to sort some things out and talk to a few people. i'll update you guys in the following days. sorry for not answering all questions.

This coin has really brought my attention. But before I invest into it, I want to test it out first. Any way on how I could get some testnet 1337 coins? It would be great if I could get some testnet coins in order to get started (so then I could buy coins from the main chain).  Smiley

YoBIT - Wallet status: Maintenance  Huh why ?

from what i've seen over the past period.... it's either:
1) sync issue with network
2) extortion (pay for repair)
3) they plan to pump to dump
4) isolating their stakes

and many other reasons in the same direction... it's just f*up
yes major scam site i cant believe they still operate and people use them they got me if i was you i would take all my coins off there before they steal them like they did mine

Simple solution.

remove the buy and sell orders and see if they turn wallet back on?
when they do remove coins and move to new exchange seems the same happen'd to cube.

according to c-cex their staked coins are not being sold but kept in the exchanges balance. its pretty simple, exchanges shouldnt stake their users coins. if they staked it by accident like they claimed they should send those coins to a burn address because those coins never should have existed in the first place...

they said they would turn off the staking after i give them the updated code. waiting for word from our coder before i release it.

give them special "c-cex only" wallet version, non-staking by design

thats not a bad idea if it can be done.

or they could add them to the balances they were staked by / split them between balances and call it a service. I dont think anyone would mind then, they could even keep a percentage as a fee.

C-cex is staking customers PoS coins, and most likely dumping them on their exchange. When I questioned support about it, this was the response I got.

2016-07-19 14:35:42 C-CEX support
Usually we disable staking. But sometimes when wallet hangs or require resync our staff restart it and forget to disable it. If you don't want your coins staked - just keep them in your wallet.

Staking gets disabled in the .conf, so no need to disable it when wallet restarts. Funny how none of the other exchanges have this issue........

I got my first ban, after three years, for mentioning c-cex staking their coins. Perma-banned for saying they went to the dark side.

Not looking good, if you look at the what happened towards the end of Craptsy. Too many similarities, and too many scamcoins added each week, probably in house coins. No respectable exchange would list the crap they have lately. They have been listing coins with no block explorers........ Approach with caution!

If any of you have withdrawn from c-cex recently, check your transaction, and see if it came from a wallet that was staking.
I will be posting this in every PoS coin thread that is listed on c-cex.

Good luck with your coin. Maybe without c-cex dumping their stakes, there could be less sell pressure.

OK so here is a question

if the wallets are locked no coins can go in or out. so if they are staking the coins and selling the profit.
the coins will still be getting staked as there not leaving the exchange so.
the best thing to do is remove the buy orders so they have no one to sell too.
i know they will just send them to another exchange but at least the wallet may get unlocked and you can get your coins?
