After a good 2 days worth of fiddling I've got most of the cards shellbunner sent me up and running, doing about 1.8MH, not too bad!
For some reason I can only get the 7970 to around 550 without exploding, while the other 7950 is at about 670. Still have a lot of tweaking to do, I guess.
It's getting hot in here. lol

It's because most people only can focus on one story, like the BC-Hype in the moment (which will continue) or the ZETA Mobilephone story. 
Like nobody noticed BC when Auroracoin was hyped and pumped.
And beeing honest, i don't know if i would know about Octocoin if i wouldn't have accidentally seen it on the latest altcoinlist.
There's no active twitter, no active facebook in the moment.
But i'm glad i'm here with you guys.

I was thinking the same exact thing. Some of these coins are 10x-20x more expensive than 888 right now, and they don't even come close to the quality of Octo. I'm a little bias, but I'm starting to wonder why hardly anyone has realized the potential Octocoin has. I guess I'll just keep buying till I run out of BTC.

Right, it's a steal. This price is completely not making sense if you... for example... look at Zetacoin (6k satoshis, 160,000,000 Coins).
If Octo would be as famous as Zeta, and people would know about the projects coming to Octocoin, we should easily be traded much, very much higher.

Some people are selling. Not much, but a few of my buy orders have filled. I think anything under 1000 Satoshi is a steal, and I'm mighty tempted to buy the .5BTC of 888 below 1000 Satoshi. Must resist!!!!!

Now the network is over 500 MH. And I'm not even renting any rigs right now.
Anyone know who makes up the other 250MH on the network? An unlisted pool, or possibly a multipool? Just curious.

well if some of us want to rent rigs, it would behoove all of us to stagger who's renting at what times, ie. don't double book cause then the hashrate will just go up more, and you'll get less for your $ in rentals.
i'm interested in renting a 12 hour rig to try out at the moment, but i wanna make sure that none of you are planning the same

Big day tomorrow, got to do some serious mods to get my mining rig going good. It's tight but I'm hoping to stuff 2 cards on my board, will have to do some crazy fan mods. I also have a PCI-E x1 slot above my GPU slots, is it possible with a long enough adapter to rig up a 3rd card to that, or am I just asking for trouble? It's been a few years since I had any mining gear and I've never attempted anything quite like that.
I'm hoping to set aside some quality keyboard time in the next couple of days, there's more games coming, I promise guys, and maybe, possibly a "hack this site" contest**? We'll see!
**Because I don't trust some devs.

Well, I'm throwing 600kh at the pool for now, so I'll have some to sell before long :b
Got some bugs to work out and some logistical difficulties (bits and bobs to hunt down), but will hopefully be running close to 2MH soon! Cannot thank you enough for the parts! I'm about to take a dremel tool to my case and make some more room so soon I'll be pumping out some hashes for sure! haha
