I think Q3 for the developers was August if I remember what they posted correctly. But regardless, they still have plenty of time.

I hope they haven't abandoned this coin...I really hope bholzer is right, and they are just way behind schedule.
Talking to a friend who is also heavily invested in 888, there isn't much we can do but wait and see. You can't dump 888 even if you wanted to since there isn't any buy support. IIRC the original estimates were to have 2 if not 3 apps released by the end of Q3, which is August for the dev team. Hopefully we'll see something from them soon.
If end of Q3 was specified, then the devs still have 5 weeks. Plenty time.

Glasses are wicked. Why only 5?
Partly because of the cost of production (each one we make and sell is a fiat investment in 888 for us) and partly to keep them exclusive/limited edition. We have more octo glasses in the pipeline but they will be etched with designs rather custom blown. :-)

I'm finally getting around to showing you the Pics of our blown OctoChalice!
These pictures are a reasonable representation of what the final glasses will look like. We are making a maximum of 5.
The work we demanded for the glass added time to it's production process making them slightly more expensive than we originally thought. They are costing us approximately BTC0.25 or £80 each (which at today's exchange rate is about 50,000 888) so unfortunately we need to put the price up a bit from our estimated 50,000 to 70,000 888. This will include worldwide delivery.

Yea for sure. I put my last buy up at 404 Satoshi. I've already reached my goal for how many Octo I wanted, but I may have to buy some more BTC and then more Octo if the price keeps slipping.

Could it be the illusive Lucjver from fedaykins? He's been renting tons of hashing power (or operates a small farm) so might be looking to secure some of his investment. Even though he's taking around 20,000 a day I'm still not even sure he'd have enough at 2.5 million... Although he could have bought too. Nice to know it's not you Shellbunner... Now where's Bholzer?

Yea, it's quite the sell wall.
My Octo are safely stored offline, and won't be touching an exchange for quite some time. I wouldn't spend nearly 6 months accumulating to sell for such a small price. I'd rather ride it down to 0.
