Dev, can you duplicate all update news here? (With more information)
Sure here's the full update:
Hi Everybody,
Here's another update about proceedings:
-> Bug fixing and site speed
This is a mighty annoying item because we are not the ones that caused this, but we are still busy with getting all the settings back as they were before the server migration. We hope to finish this asap.
-> Auto-exchange and marketplace
Two major new things that are in development at the moment are our auto-exchange which will allow everybody to easily buy ADZcoins without even leaving ADZbuzz, and the ADZbuzz services (Fiverr-like marketplace) platform. We don't have an exact launch date at the moment but i'm sure this week we'll know exactly when this will go live.
-> Tifostarter preparation
Finally, the catalyst external revenue platform tifostarter is in full preparation, and this week we'll have the foundation ready. Then it's just a matter of implementing all the features we need to get ready for promoting this to millions of football fans.
In case you missed that, here is an overview of the business plan of Tifostarter:
>>>
http://bloglivin.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Tifostarter.pdfWe do have made a couple of tweaks though to this overview to make sure we can launch on time and give Tifostarter even more potential than it already has.
1. We won't use the ADZbuzz software for Tifostarter
It will take longer than expected to get ADZbuzz out of beta, so we won't be using the same software for Tifostarter. Instead we'll use a crowdfunding script which is built in laravel, the php framework we'll use to rebuild ADZbuzz when we're making it open source. This is much faster, easier to add features and most importantly, it contains a limited amount of features we can build upon.
2. We won't turn Tifostarter into a news site
The main angle to promote tifostarter is the free game, which will serve as a fictional competition which is exciting, plus will allow teams to raise more funds for tifos. If you read the overview you'll know what this means and how it'll easily allow us to attract millions of football fans worldwide and why we'll make a lot of ticket sales through our crwodfunding feature.
3. Advertising won't be the main external income source
We won't be using advertising as the main external income source to reward teams who win the weekly game and give them even more funding than what their fans donate. For this we'll have 2 main income sources:
- Affiliate links to sports betting websites
- Crowd based prediction market software to sell to people who play on sports betting sites
If you think about it, the value of the data we'll collect from our game (letting fans predict outcome of games) is immense as sports betting is a billion Dollar industry. Crowd based prediction markets are proven to be excellent forecasting tools. There are even coins based around this topic, think of Augur:
https://augur.net/ or Gnosis for example:
https://gnosis.pm/Both projects have market caps into the $100's of million as seen here:
http://coinmarketcap.com/assets/views/all/And to make it even more attractive, fans who play the game on Tifostarter will be well informed before predicting the outcome of games. The live chat feature will allow fans to communicate with each other which adds an extra layer of crowd prediction to the software. This will be an invaluable tool for sure.
Our software will be a monthly paid fee and part of the revenue from this software will be used to reward teams.
4. 10% of both revenue streams will be used to buy ADZcoins
Tifostarter will be the main external revenue source for ADZbuzz. Even though we'll just reserve 10% of total revenue for this, you need to understand the potential with this platform. In the overview you see that there are already teams who raise over $10K for a single tifo. I'm sure that just a fraction of their fans even knew about this, so this could easly be much more when most of the fans are engaged on Tifostarter.
So how much can we make?
Every business plan needs some figures so let's take a look at our first goals:
-> 150 leagues with an average of 20-25 teams.
Because we will automate a lot of the features we can simply add every team on Tifostarter in the first and second division in about 150 leagues in the world. This means we'll have a total of about 3500 teams listed on ADZbuzz.
-> Average of $1000 per team per game.
Some teams have 100K+ fans all over the world and will generate a lot of money. Other teams have fewer fans and will generate much less. I think from our research that an average of $1000 per team per game is a good first goal. This would mean with 30 games the gross fundraising would be $105 million per season!
-> Revenue from software
This will take probably a bit longer because we need to test and optimize the software. The benefit is that Tifostarter will grow at lightening speed when we use the techniques mentioned in the pdf, and the software is mainly an info tool about games similar to what we'll already have with the live scores and tables. So the more players we have in the game, the more valuable our game will be. I think we can charge $100 per month and could aim for 10K sales because our target audience will already be on our site so we don't even need to do heavy marketing campaigns.
-> Total revenue goal
10% of the fundraising revenue = $10.5 million
10% of the sports betting software + Affiliate from sports betting sites = $1.5 million
Total: $1 million profit
I'm sure we can easily add even more income streams to Tifostarter when we have millions of fans on board growing the total profit even further.
-> Reinvesting for growth
Not all the profit will be used to buy ADZcoins. Half of it will be used to reinvest in the business and build teams for all of the other platforms we have planned. I already mentioned this a lot but we need a lot of cash-flow to make this business work as we need to expand fast. If we can make Tifostarter work the way I described there is nothing stopping ADZbuzz from succeeding.
Conclusion
With the addition of the current 2 features which are in development, I think it's time to fully focus on making ADZbuzz bug-free. So a couple of developers will be assigned to that. So essentially, except for an improved version of our auto-exchange we won't plan on adding any major features there except an improved version of the mailing feature.
Instead we will fully focus on the platform that will secure the future of ADZbuzz and its revenue distribution system: Tifostarter!
There is no other business that will generate more revenue in a short amount of time and explode ADZcoin, I think that's a certainty.
Plus, we are attracting a completely new market and don't have to sell products to people signing up to ADZbuzz. This is also the reason why we won't selling an upgrade offer at the moment (still an option later though) and won't connect Tifostarter to ADZbuzz to get things rolling.
Later this week i'll post another update explaining how all ADZbuzz members can get involved and get rewarded for it at the same time.
