duckNote is a cryptonight coin with different total coins amount and bitcoin reward logic. Take a look.
for normal people definitely yes.. aeon too of course, right now all other cryptoN either difficulty went to insane high levels or engaged in speculation.. underneath it all is one algorithm
if I send a transactions weather by X CN coin or Y CN coin results is the same.. what varies is price on an exchange and difficulty level..
this is pretty funny to me.. also if bytecoin was premined 80% that I completely do not understand who is mining it!

im going to setup a pool for Aeon using https://github.com/zone117x/node-cryptonote-pool, pool started well without any problem.
But in the client it show Stratum authentication failed...
Does the node-cryptonote-pool can be used with Aeon coin?
I am running it find, you have to make some changes to the code though.But in the client it show Stratum authentication failed...

The CN space is totally up for grabs...
I'm not a fan of that French, 3 hour lunch, August vacation, bounty-driven coin Monero...
That's why it's worth evaluating new CNotes as they launch.
And the shadowy BCN team is planning some sort of "big" announcement in about a week.
Ultimately, the winner(s) of this space will be WELL FINANCED... and are yet to come.

there is nothing wrong, mining resumed, no premine and instamine, bounty rewards kept very small (dev values its creation)
there are some deep issues around not with this coin but in general pools and orphans (including the most expensive one (+ difficulty requiring serious AWS use and risk) and unapproachable of them all (name suppressed)) these I am sure will be resolved in time.
