I think exactly this is the idea why its ASIC resistant . When there are 50+ X11 and N-Scrypt coins then  any ASIC making company might consider developing one for this algorithm, however with Aiden - yes the change in the code is small but its effective and since its the only coin with this change its not very likely any company will even think about developing ASIC for it. After all the investment needed for developing an ASIC is very high and one will make it only if he can see big numbers.

Why Aiden is better than SHA-3/X11/HVC? Memory intensive is the reason why Vertcoin is ASIC resistant. ADN is not. For now, it's unprofitable to produce ASIC for ADN, sure... but there are better algorithms for ASIC protection

It seems like these days it's extremely easy to make the next Vertcoin. Change a few lines of code and you get an innovative coin whose price will skyrocket in less than two weeks. (Hirocoin, Vertcoin, HVC, etc...)

I started mining with my entire farm ( about 500mhs with Aiden ) and i also have about 3k+ , i like this change and i vote FOR it

This is still not enough infrastructure to outweigh the rate of current mining.

I agree with a faster reward halving, but it needs to be done more thoughtfully.

I think the optimum coin release schedule involves a combination of variable block reward halving times along with a minimum block reward of 3.125:

The original distribution period was 8 years, this method increases that time period to 15 years. However, you can see that it bottlenecks the coin distribution to 42M coins in 3 years rather than the original plan of less than 1 year.

I see Aiden is developing pretty nice, good job to the dev and the community.
Btw i also think that the block reward should halve in less blocks ( i have only like 3000 aiden so i wont win anything from that )

Yes, Of course, the Aidencoin worth/Hash goes higher auto, because there is different "Algorithm">>"Scrypt-OG"
