windows defender deleted my alloy.exe
You need to get your Virus/defender program to ignore the directory that you keep alloy.exe in.

With the new exchange, How does it work ?
Do we load it with BTC and sell for XAO, Or is there a easier way where I don't loose money on fees.

If you are having problems with version 2.2, try re-syncing your block chain by deleting the contents of %appdata%\alloy and relaunching the wallet.

If you have a balance issue, it's easier to just help you live on discord -- https://alloyproject.org/discord
And the current block height is 16715, so if you are below that you should upgrade to version 2.2 and resync.

I downloaded the new ver 2.2.0 and having this errore continuosly even if the balance seems to look correct:

You can ignore those warnings. They are generated from the older clients on the network.
We are still on cryptonight but plan to move to a custom POW algorithm in the future.
At block 17500, we will activate the new miner fairness algorithm (new diff algo) to make it easier for smaller miners to compete with nice hash, etc.
OOOK!!!
Now it's clear!
Will the new algo still be mineable with GPUs?
