i also talk to a lot of other devs about a bunch of different things like pooling funds to get an open source android wallet sorted for Proof of stake coins and talking about ways to help the comunaty clean itself up

I have plenty of evidence of Zach working on "other" projects so expect a big dive in ADT prices when all is revealed.

I never have and never will demand any kind of BTC for protection, if thats what people call it. Like BCX, I have enough BTC of my own, thx.

mudafuda is trying to get people to Attack ADT in multiple ways and is claiming to have some proof that I have made loads of coins and have loads of alt accounts ( none of that is true )

killadtkilladt is demanding that
1 all the coins that haven't been swapped are destroyed
2 I destroy all my holdings of ADT and All other crypto
3 leave crypto permanently
4 hand over everything to do with ADT that I have over to them

killadtkilladt also says that ADT will be totally destroyed unless the demands are met in 24h time

I am getting fed up with all this crap I have spent a huge amount of my time and money getting ADT back on track but people like this make me wonder why I am even bothering as I could have spent all the money on a nice holiday and not had to deal with all these morons !

luckily for all the ADT users i decided to ignore all the morons and spend my time and money on getting everything back on track

i have put a lot of offline stuff on hold for now as i am going to be dedicating more of my time to clean up the altcoin world

we need to implement some way of cleaning up the alt section of this forum and removing the people that are just here to destroy it

sorry I haven't been around as much as I would like but I have been making the most of the good weather and working on my electric car conversion

I am still doing all the background stuff and making sure everything is running well !

over the next few days I will be putting a bounty thread together for an android wallet
( Android wallets haven't been made for Proof of Stake  coins before so it will probably take a fair amount of bounty to build up before someone is willing to work on it )

it is possible that we will be working with other devs that run Proof of Stake coins as they would be looking to have an Android wallet for there coin aswell so that could cut the costs


 

if you opened it on day 29/30 you would get 1 lot of stake

Ok, so what happens if you open the wallet after 30 days? Do you get 2x the stake, or do you only get 1x maximum? So, in short, do you need to let the staking happen every 15days?

Also, is there a way to see if the staking has finished?

I will try to open the ADT wallet more often, but I have so many wallets at the moment that I just can't open all of them each day.

Thanks for the explanation anyway, it is getting more clear to me already I'll see if my wallet syncs (4 connections now), otherwise I will redownload the blockchain.

stake works on coin age after you have had coins for 15 days they are eligible to stake ( could take a few h more )

after the coins stake the coin age is reset and they will be eligible to stake again after 15 days

all your coins wont stake at once as they will probably have been sent in a few separate transactions ( coin age is reset when coins are sent )

all you need to do to get the stake is have the wallet open from day 14 until they stake although I would advise you to leave the wallet open all the time as it will help support the network

there is some issues with wallets going out of sync it is caused by there not connecting to enough nodes on the network ( every open wallet is a node ) I am getting a couple more servers around the world to help stop the issue but the best think would be for everyone to keep there wallets open so I can save some money and spend it on other things

to solve the issue normally you just have to close and reopen the wallet and that should solve it

there have been a few cases where you have to download the blockchain to solve the issue but that has only happened to a couple of people

Can someone please explain to me how exactly PoS works? I have been looking for it a few times already, but haven't found a clear answer. I think this may be an issue for others as well.

If I look at ADT, it says "POS 0.05% /15 days". I always thought this meant you would get an interest rate of 0.05% each 15 days a coin is in your wallet. Sometimes coins need to 'mature', which means that there is an initial period in which you do not get any stake, before the (in case of ADT) 15 day periods start. However, I always thought that you would get the interest no matter what. But now you are talking about keeping your wallet open?

So, I would like to know what I need to do to get my stake. Also, how do I know if I got all the stake I am entitled to? Is there any way to see how many coins you've had for how many days?



Also, another thing. I just opened my wallet again, and now it is at block 29634, with last block time of 20 min ago. However it says 'estimated blocks 39473', and my wallet is 'out of sync'. How did this happen? The only thing I did different was entering 'walletpassphrase passssss 7200' in the console, since I read somewhere that you had to do this to get your stake.

Its less than that I think it was about 6 bill I will do a count up today and update on the total remaining

I am trying to get btcltc  to contact you but they are a pain in the ass to get in touch with cryptsy is no problem. So at least my coins while be swapped very soon. Are there many left? 8 bill or something, right?

the problem with staking every day would be the amount of orphan blocks I will look into what staking times other coins have done and what works well




yes we need marketing but it would be good to get the last coins swapped , more nodes , the website and fully running on stake first

even if it takes more time I want to do it right !

that would be a very wise ideas and incentive for everyone to invest. Also just finding that users are simply not aware that they need to keep their wallets open. Now that the dust has settled they simply just sitting and waiting not realizing they need to be active so yes incentives incentives!!!

should we consider upping rate of interest and having it stake daily.... this will encourage people to hold their coins on the wallets and keep them open. Right now the rate is not enough to persuade them to do this and it is causing the wallets to go in and out of sync?
