It would be great to have a couple more developers to help develop a miner and so on and so forth, because I can program, but I'm not very experienced. Me and my friend are also working on an animecoin store, where animecoin merchandise can be bought and sold using animecoins and bit coins. People will be able to sign up as sellers and then sell products. Kinda like ebay or amazon.

Thanks, but I'm afraid it doesn't support x86. Ah the good old days when 32-bit was still popular, where did they go?
I still need to bring my coding skills up to date from the good old days of 8 bit processors, I should try to get around to it before 64 bit becomes obsolete too

On another note, me and a friend have started work on an official animecoin webpage which we can host and keep up to date and modify when ever we want. We were wondering if it would be alright for us to host ads on the page, so that we can pay the server costs and the development/upkeep costs from that?

Hi DarkWolf

I'm very sorry to tell you, that i couldn't manage to compile the CPUMiner on a Windows XP 32Bit with MINGW32 installed Sad

I get always an error at the final "make" Command:
http://pastebin.com/BXCJ16dB

Could someone help me out of this? I think the error lays in the source code...

Just compile miner from https://github.com/Animecointeam/Anime-CPUMiner everything compile without problems. Probably you use gcc 4.8 instead gcc 4.6.
To save the time you can replace your MinGW with my and compile again: https://www.dropbox.com/s/m2bj4t3gyyjkjzh/MinGW.rar

My MinGW has all requared modules like libcurl, etc.

If you want to install MinGW from scratch and compile miner, remove your MinGW and start from this version: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/files/OldFiles/mingw-get-inst/mingw-get-inst-20120421/

The pool www.cpu-pool.net/ani will be shutting down on the 01.08.2014. So if you have funds there withdraw them from there by then. I've read that on their ani pool's homepage.
The pool's home page and their Twitter page have changed their closing date to 1st October now

ex_mac is the admin, I haven't spoken directly with them, but they put up an update today saying that that would be the case you can check it out on the homepage for the ani pool. You probably should send him a message to confirm.

Thank you, DarkWolf, for the info. It seems that their webpage is offline already. Have you been able to speak directly with their admins? Who is the Adm there?

(edit: their webpage is still online, but the correct address is https://www.cpu-pool.net/ani Smiley)

Don't worry about it 8bitp, for me its more important to get my mac wallet working again than to continue mining.

Nice idea, in fact that might be the direction to go, if we could perhaps back services such as RenPy or PyGame, we might be able to promote Animecoin and find more funds for development + get the word out about animecoin and get it into circulation. We could use animecoin as a medium for donation and financing indie developers and their games. That is sort of the direction ani chan wanted to take the coin in the first place.

OK now on a different note, I'm going to start programming a website, there will be ads on it and all the necessary links for animecoin. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

8bitp, have you managed to compile the 32-bit cpu miner for animecoin, I could really do with it right about now. Thanks for all the support with the wallet, now I just need to sort out my mac wallet.

Hey there,

I have found this post:

Hi everyone,
I am offering my services as a small game developer !

I create games for fun, and i did not learn anything about developing games on school only online.
I can create a 2D game for you at your choosing [we can discuss this further on if you are intersted].

My price is very cheap and we can use escrow.

If you have any intersted PM me or simply reply here with your idea and i will tell you if i can do it or not, and if i can i will also say the price.

Thank you!

And had the idea that it would be nice to have a faucet-game for Animecoin. Something like a mini grand chase, elsword, or at least a simple pokemon like tournament (or a tamagochi). It could even be one more feature to our Android Wallet App in development.

Hey does anyone want to help create an animecoin store? We could sell some animecoin merchandise, phone covers, T-shirts, USB's with some cool anime graphics on it for the coin.
