Also, some may be forgetting. In order to be able to sell coins, "someone" are buying them up...  Roll Eyes

Off course there are buyers at that redicoules low price! They are like Hyena's...

Dont forget... if ther will be no new big community of buyers and investors then the  sell price will stay this low and buy orders also....

If that doesent change UTC will slowly die

It was rising and I was buying in on MintPal as the sell orders were small so easy to push up. But some idiot just sold at 4290 when the price was at 4999 so that has killed the momentum and now someone else has a sell at 4600 for 3,000 UTC. Do we think this is other multipools mining UTC and then dumping?

I think mint is just a bit congested, hopefully cryptsy can keep it going and mint should follow.

HI

Been mining UTC from day 1 but i cant seem to get my settings right for New N-factor, Can someone help
I'm using R9 290s with 16GB on my machine.
Tried the config site and it just seems to reset my graphics card all the time.

Also what AMD driver are people using, and what hash rate should i get a 290s with new N-factor?

Im using Ultra coin miner not yaminer... i dont want to use yaminer

Do miners get significantly less UTC since Nfactor increase?
No, should be the same amount but due to many miners left or haven't set up their miners yet you get more coins before the change.

Well someone must have noticed how undervalued UTC is, price is rising.

about time, I can't believe people were selling at 4000

Now if they devs would lock in the nfactor at current, promote the energy saving positives of nfactor and reduce the POS to a week the future could be bright.

This coin is still very young and all we need is some positive movement and momentum

The whole market goes up, the sentiment and the market is positive

Where are the buyers for UTC

Price only goes down

1 UTC = 0.00003897 BTC
Any good news for all cryptos? Everything or at least main cryptos are going up for the last few days.

Me the same like the new H-factor. Temperature on the cards fell by 10 degrees Celsius compared to the previous H-factor. A great option for the summer. Ask developers to think, can reduce its costs e? Coins we get as much as before and the cards are heated much less. I was afraid that in the heat of summer will have to leave the production due to overheating UTC cards and other produce coins - less hot. Now I keep mine UTC because the temperature became lower because of the H-factor.

Friends, here is almost night we extract UTC with a new complexity. Let's share the results of the rate of production?

My Asus R9 280x GPU with 1100 have a speed of 17.5 kH /s with almost no errors (no more than 2-3 errors on the card within 10 minutes)
My Gigabyte R9 270x GPU with 1200 have speed 11.6 kH/ s per card (no more than 1-2 errors in 10 minutes).

Settings for 280x

SET GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
yacminer.exe --scrypt-chacha -o stratum+tcp://stratum.ultracoinpool.info:3333 -u barbados-2 -p 1 --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1388361600 -R 8000 -g 1 -w 256 --buffer-size 2656 --lookup-gap 6 --xintensity 4  --auto-fan --temp-cutoff 86 --temp-overheat 80 --gpu-fan 80-95 2>logfile.txt

Settings for 270x

SET GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
yacminer.exe --scrypt-chacha -o stratum+tcp://stratum.ultracoinpool.info:3333 -u barbados-1 -p 1 --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1388361600 -g 1 -w 256 -R 10000 --buffer-size 1576 --lookup-gap 6 --auto-fan --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --gpu-fan 75-95 2>logfile.txt

This is by far the wallet that takes most time opening and syncing, and I have over 50 crypto currencies....

You must address this problem, specially if you advertise as a 'ultrafast' coin

Have you updated your wallet recently? The original version and first update had problems which caused a long load time. The newest wallet, version 3, has addressed this issue.

Latest wallet available at http://ultracoin.net/wallet.html

KC

I have updated to the latest version, and my wallet still takes for ages to open. I just have the logo of the wallet displaying for a looong time, then it opens, but same speed as last version (i see the new green logo etc, I really am updated)

90% faster? not for me

Any solutions?

1st time you open new wallet is slow then its fast very fast in fact its ULTRA fast

Very helpful

(I've opened it for 5 times now, no change)

did you let it sync ?

can't send 0.001btc: my online wallet says too small...

you need to send .0012 to cover fee and minimum send.

No, it claims I have to send 0.01 minimum, which I won't because this is too much.
I ain't a tramp but if yomeone fancies it you can vouch for me by sending out 0.001 at
13iPgr16eia2CsCK2MMJtSaxYevRHv1VZk
There's no big deal, but it's just for tech reasons that I can't send.

In case you would question my integrity, be aware that I voted with my wallet for UTC on mintpal and cryptsy way back. And that was not cheap for me.
