Maybe to help here and possibly others.

I can, somewhat, say that large holders aren't moving coins to begin with.   Most of the coin movement being sold is relatively small, though I suppose maybe a max around 5k.  I suppose this period ends up being a good buying opportunity until more things get sorted out;  to restore buy support and volume.
I am a bit saddened to see the price so low at the moment, but I understand traders are always looking to flip coins and make money.  Most, if not all, of the "daily profit" miners are long gone;  so the majority of miners would be holding I suppose.  Myself included.

I keep track of coins a bit, cause i'm wierd like that.  I do not get any feeling of panic, loss of confidience or mass selling from what I check on.  In fact, overall things seem positive on that front.  Of all the coins I watch;  only 2 persons have less coins than a few days ago.  Now I only watch about 66% of minted coins, as of this writing;  so it's somewhat representative at best.

Anyway,  Hopefully the liquidity issues with investors will get sorted out soon and things can be back on the road.  Hodl strong UTC'ers!

On a side note:  think about 16hrs until N change.....

Thanks for this. Question for you - do you know what's going on with promotions/giveaways? I was out for most of the day today, but seem to remember a request for donations to be used in promotions. Can you bring us up to date?

I would hope that those with a large amount of coins would actually spread them across exchanges.
Partly to mitigate risk and partly so arbitrage opportunities can be made.
Clever money would be made to work.
This way dumping is less worthwhile and prices can be maintained to a degree

one thing..i'm concerned about being on too many exchanges...

every thing gets too spread out...little here little there..

i think it might be better if we trade in 1 exchange or concentrate it to 1 exchange

that way we can have the volume and buy support to keep the price going..

also new exchanges  have too many zeros for utc price ...we need to drop few zeros

ppl are selling .00023750 now...next is .00023749

what do you guys think about the decimal place being too many?

i think CT only had up to 6 places...

I don't mind about the decimal places...I do, however, want at least 3 large exchanges trading UTC.  Look at what happened with CT - great volume and nice trading tools/capability, but when it went down, the UTC community went to only trading what was mined on BF and recently MintPal...the vast majority of UTC/BTC from us miners/traders/stakeholders are stuck there.

Once this we get our ultracoins back from cryptotrade we can all do some advertising and get this off the ground.

We all know the price should be at least 0.0005 by now.

I agree. The key is to try not to dump, that's just pushing the price lower and lower.

It just sent 0.25 btc over to mint and spread it out over the buy orders.

Seems to be helping.

We all know that a lot of people are gonna dump as soon as they get their UTC out of CT...

When CT is gona release the UTC withdraw price of UTC will be 1 satoshi Smiley

CT is affecting UTC like how MtGox was affecting Bitcoin.

Knowing that there is a significant amount of the trading UTC there I would have to agree.
Theres also a lot of BTC back those coins as well.
The sooner those funds are released back into the hands of traders the faster UTC can get the momentum back

CT is affecting UTC like how MtGox was affecting Bitcoin. It's ridiculous.

Definitely

Seems others are starting to realise how big an issue this actually is.

1.  Did you ever backup your wallet from 1.5?
2.  Do you still have 1.5?
3.  Type %appdata% into your windows search (hit windows button on the bottom left and type that in with % symbols included), open "roaming", Find ultracoin.  Is your wallet.dat file there?

1) no, I am retarded
2) 2 versions available, tried a rollback to the 20th currently, see if that restores any missing files (why it vanished in the first place from a simple install is baffling me)
3) 3 time of looking, got it, you sir are a star <3

UTC addy?

You're welcome, and you can keep your UTC.  I typically don't take tips for helping unless I spent an hour doing it.

@halofirebtc
having 8 decimal places is definitely a different world than just 6. Doesn't matter to me though.
