2. What you (bumface/ziggy) are currently pursuing (if any) so we can either help or avoid.
3. Bounties section. It's deep down in the ARCHIVE section of the OP. Is that really where it should be?
4. Short & sweet News Update / Achievement section. (Does NOT have to be daily)

I keep telling you bumface, stop wasting your energy writing up speeches which many won't even get to read at page 245 of this thread.
Instead, just communicate to us mostly via OP updates and add more information to the FAQ section which people complain about. Please.

if other pools are down a fail over pool is very useful
just add this at the end of your .bat config
--failover-only -o stratum+tcp://pooladdress.com:1234 -u username -p password

I understand the situation. But this is not right. ultra.nitro is having the majority of the hash power. And it seems that there is no planned actions to dissipate those hashes to other pools. With so many downtimes on leetpool, this situation will continue to reappear in the future. I'm mining at idcray, but thing are not so good there either.
utc.greekpool.eu just re-opened and mining. They were a good competitor and they had to relocate servers. I am sure they will build up pretty quick and share the hashes. Nitro is not trying to corner the market. I assure you that.
I just re-joined your pool, you're getting quite a lot of orphans though

Just an observation though.
I'm mining at nitro and was getting steady 115-120 coins per day... but now I might only get 90 coins today based from my calculation.
I'm only on my 8th hour so probably too early to say or maybe it has something to do with the increase of number of workers and pool invalids.s

Diff was quite high at some point, I switched to different pools for a while but unfortunately they are getting a lot more orphans than nitro. Greekpool and udcray are at 10% orphan rate now

UTC need supporters not whinners. I absolutely agree with Bumface. If you are feeling uncomfortable, please sell your UTC and buy some coins with everyday updates and great news. How many cool updates Panda had?

I just requested C-CEX.com to add UTC to their exchange via Twitter.

Hi everyone! Does anybody knows what is the reason for this madness with mining pools. Leetpool is down (again), nitro is mining but at rate of 150% oversharing blocks. It seems that nitro got more than 90% of nethashpower. I think its NOT a healthy mining.
As some pool goes down for maintenance or upgrade a spike in hashrate on another pool is normal. What do you expect us to do shut the pool down when another pool is upgrading? I don't see a reason for concern.
