is it normal that with this "scrypt-jane" my graphic card just does 25-30% less hashpower than with normal "scrypt" coins? I got intensity 20 and same settings than always. Also the graphicscards takes less power - but I find no tweak to get more hash without crashing the graphics driver!?

Yes, this is correct.  Scrypt-jane will yield a lower hashrate relative to scrypt.

so one more question: can I use the remaining power of my graphic card? I did not try yet, but since power consumption is also 25% less, where is the power? Makes no sense that there is power left, I could just start a second instance, but I guess it would crash...?

The algorithm takes less energy to process, but the bandwith available for your given GPU or CPU is maxed out.    You can't stuff any more information down the pipeline even if the information isn't as computationally intensive for your processor.

Proof of Stake explanation

20% interest per year if you

3. have wallet online all year

Lol wut?

Ya have wallet online all year? You must be kidding!
Yes, you have, because that way you can an intermediary for transactions.

this is if you want pos rewards guys, if you dont then dont have it on all year  Cheesy

Just goes to show dev has no freaking idea how POS should be implemented...talk to CASH dev...try to get real

i am not the dev and did you click the link for detailed explanation??

Proof of Stake explanation

20% interest per year if you

1. have utc in wallet
2. don't spend it during that year
3. have wallet online all year
4. have wallet unlocked for minting, do this like so:
    - Open debug window, then console, then type: 'walletpassphrase' yourpassword '999999999' TRUE

Detailed PoS explanation

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Proof_of_Stake

The link explains the theory of PoS, but you haven't explained how it's implemented on this coin.  Just saying you could get 20% interest if it's left on all year doesn't really address how often PoS blocks are generated for your coin, if they are implemented from launch or at some later date, and I'm still not sure whether the "walletpassphrase" is implemented only for minting or if it fully unlocks my wallet for the specified time on your coin.

PoS is always poorly understood (myself included) and it is one of the two things that differentiates this coin from a lot of the other scrypt based coins.  You'd be doing yourself a favor if you could explain it better and why you added it with such a relatively large interest payout.

to be more exact, if you run an active node for a year with 0% downtime, you get 20%, otherwise you get less than that.

real time coin supply: http://supply.ultracoin.net/

Is there any chance you will be getting this on btc-e?

Maybe it will go on there one day who know's,and Bumface will prolly keep it under wraps until he know's for sure

Does he have the power to get it on there?

no idea but they must speak with the people in charge and im sure they could push it if they wanted and get it on

Btc-e already have it's own "2.5 millions coins pack" and it is called FTC"
UTC remember me FTC and CNC, same amount in the beginning ..same price .... same ....Touch.

I was dumping UTC on freshcoin ! WTF ! ! like i dumped FTC , CNC , etc During IPO .
Your only chance is to dump immediatly. Long time miner confession ^^

Or, maybe just hold it for a couple weeks , and wait for the value to go up a little. Im always confused why people have to sell immediately
