A good way to compare the price of UTC is to look at CASH which was released a week or so ago. It's got the same specs as UTC (mainly) by being pow/pos and having a very low mintage. CASH is trading at half of UTC currently and I'd expect the variance to tighten.
I love both coins though, it's a long term hold for me!

Hey.
I got some problem with my Ultracoin wallet.
When i start it i get no splashscreen or anything at all. But in the
right corner in the "taskfield" i see the ultracoin icon. When i move my
cursor over it it does disappear.
Seems like it does not start at all.
I have tried:
Removing the ultracoin folder in %appdata% folder
Removing the wallet also and unpacked it again. (Also on different harddrive)
Tried redownloading it.
Also tried other programs to unzip it.

I have an 'old' GTX 465 on my daughters PC (XP) and got it to work (110kh) with the following:
Latest cudaminer with Scrypt-Jane support (2014-02-02)
and the following config / .bat

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
cudaminer.exe -C 1 -i 1 -H 2 -l auto -o stratum+tcp://xxxxxx3 -u xxxxxx -p xxxx -a scrypt-jane:UltraCoin

ok i did that. it says "Unable to query CUDA driver version! Is an nVidia driver installed?"
did any previous version of cudaminer work for you or is this the first time you are trying ?

Nvidia drivers / Cuda ?
using driver 185.5 for XP 32 bit eg this runs out of the X86 folder. Also I see no flags in your batch ( after the call to .exe / before the pool url). Not sure if they are mandatory but I set them based on the readme file

Some of us like the current logo while others think there could be a new logo.......
For example (not for promotion), Q2C team found my style acceptable for them, so we did logo, some promo-arts, loading wallet screen. Maybe paper wallet design and more stuff.
Just make a voting, is there any need to change logo or not. And community will choose.

It's TIX, APPLECOIN, QQCOIN, VELOCITYCOIN clone with a new name. Could be good, could just be nothing. A gamble i guess. You are paying premium here for a possible marketing team. So many coins though... have to wait and see.

run it from command prompt rather than just doubleclicking the batch. Gives you some feedback. Pool url is my guess
