Here's a calculation I use to determine what the current value of a coin is based on mining difficulty:

@ 5 Mh/s a good day of mining yields ~$75

Coins generated per day with 5 Mh/s @ current difficulty = ~ 640 UTC
Current Price of BTC: $800/BTC

BTC generated per day : $75 / $800/BTC = 0.09375 BTC/day

0.09375 BTC / 640 UTC = 0.0001465 BTC/UTC

Current Price of LTC = .0266 BTC/LTC

Calculated Value = 0.0001465 BTC/UTC / 0.0266 BTC/LTC = 0.0055 LTC/UTC

Current Price on Indie Exchange = 0.012 LTC/BTC

That's an overprice of 118%, needless to say I am generating 0.2 BTC per day mining ultracoin Grin

For all you Nvidia guys:

I have an 'old' GTX 465 on my daughters PC (XP) and got it to work (110kh) with the following:

Latest cudaminer with Scrypt-Jane support (2014-02-02)

and the following config / .bat

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

cudaminer.exe -C 1 -i 1 -H 2 -l auto -o stratum+tcp://xxxxxx3 -u xxxxxx -p xxxx -a scrypt-jane:UltraCoin

can also be done by specifying starttime,min,max instead of coin name eg -a=scrypt-jane:1388361600,4,30

working away on leetpool with no problem

Anyone who payed for an invite got scammed. I asked for an invite on this forum post and had an email within 5 minutes, this coin was fair, just the more experienced miners who knew what they were doing got in earlier because they know how shit works. I did nothing special and was mining plenty early

To be fair the only reason it was invite only is because it was getting overloaded as it was. It was the only pool operational at launch that wasn't scamming people.

Idcray is one of the only pools that stands strong on launch days, its members charging for invites has nothing to do with the operators. I know this because I've used them on various launches.

Like I said earlier it all may be a coincidence that people having problems with these cards just wanted to make people aware

its the VRM temp you need to watch out on thats what burnt my card gotta keep vrm below 85
