why the fuck do i keep getting share above target with all the rejects under the sun.....
Sounds like you aren't using scrypt-jane. You either have it said up to mine SHA256 - most likely, or just scrypt.

You don't get A or R when solo mining unless you find a block.
can you please explain me, why I a have 15 A's, 7 R's but ONLY one block came to my wallet like 30 minutes ago?? So what does it mean??

i think i'm now solo mining,1 hr after launch lol.
My problem was that i had the conf file in the ultracoin miner folder instead of the appdata/roaming/ultracoin.
probably a bit late to the party,but better late than never

totally fucked launch of this coin.. no support from founders at all. Until I run it with community support, there is diff 2 and I will find shit. How many of us had worked setup from 1st minute? You wrote about config, but there was not any.

so i've downloaded the wallet, opened the console, typed "setgenerate true" my machine is whiring. do i need to do anything else? how do i tell if i've hit a block? the console doesn't show anything other than the command i've just put in.

point your miner to 127.0.0.1 and have config file set properly.. also noted at first page..

And I cant solo...
and did you start your wallet with this config? also you have to have -u user and -p pass in your config.. as well as -o 127.0.0.1:44101
Downloaded the miner from the first post, can't find the config file. there's no ultracoin.conf in there?
open a notepad file and save as ultracoin.conf

I have created the config with my user and password in there.
Changed the .bat to ultracoinminer.exe -o 127.0.0.1:44101 -u user -p pass --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 -I 18 -w 512 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 24550 --gpu-threads 1 --gpu-powertune 20
but i'm getting this error from the cmd line "pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid"
any idea what the prob could be?

This sucks. I knew I smelled something fishy, but now it's official. I think development team already mines using a pool and will instamine the first couple 1000 blocks. Great!

do you have "-o http://127.0.0.1" or just "-o 127.0.0.1"? It should be http://127.0.0.1
