Talked me into giving it a try for a couple of days

Ok have account at coinex.pw. miner connected blocks being accepted.

But no balance in ASC anywhere I can see. where will it show up?

your rewards will be added to your balance as soon the blocks are confirmed by the network. you will get a notification.

I am sure cryptsy will support ASC, not sure when though. In the meantime, let's mine as much as possible before the hashrate goes up further when ASC hits cryptsy Wink

ASIC coin is going to cryptsy - it has the most votes here:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/official-cryptsy-coin-poll-309704

Just because it has the most votes does NOT mean it's going to Cryptsy.  I highly doubt they're going to take coins purely based on popularity.

What is the point of the vote if there not going to list the coin voted ?

Cryptsy is a for-profit organization. It is in their interests to support coins that are hot and have a broad miners support. As the interests in the coin will translate into the interests in trading. I don't see why they will do anything against the popularity of the coin.

Just an FYI there will be an ASC pool added to the dsync pools tomorrow.  I'm sure x3 will be by to post when it's up an running.  If you haven't checked out the dsync pools they're by far the best out there in SHA land.
