Although Ethereum Network is functioning better now, the scalibility problem is not solved permanently. I think Bancor team is just making sure that transfers go through smootly on time. It is a good solution but an expensive one as well.

It seems that the price of Bancor will continue to rise and there is no reason to sell, instead I will continue to buy BNT because it will be a profitable coin.

In my opinion, the coin is too overpriced. Does it make sense to buy it for investment? For speculations of short-term, I think it will fit.
I think it's very underpriced. It only doubled ICO price lately USD wise. If you think about other projects Bancor is very behind. I have %100 trust to the project. I won't sell my coins for this cheap price.
LoL - Bancor is probably one of the most underpriced coins on the whole crypto market! Unlike 99% of the other coins, it REALLY solves a problem, and a very important one - the problem of liquidity between the growing long tail of assets in cryptoland. Bancor is destined to BOOM and not just for speculative reasons, as the other coins usually do.

Bancor has started this year with good appreciation and great updates in development area. I don't see any reason for this to not reach in top positioned coins/tokens in coming months. For the moment its performance is highly appreciable in development as well as price. I will keep good portion of my tokens continuously for rest of the year.

I've been looking around! Sad for missing the early bounties...
Right now, the transaction fees seem a bit unbearable. I'm hoping that when ETH network goes back to normal this fees become irrelevant.

what are benefits for token holders during trading on the bancor network?
No benefit, you get to use it on bancor app.And you can use it to create your own token later as every smart token will need bnt as the connector

Hi, can anyone help me understand what stops someone from selling their smarttokens back to the smart contract to the point that all of the ETH backing BNT disappears (I guess something akin to a bank run)?
One guy in one txn empty out the connector (Eth reserve)?Either he a big idiot or he just clueless about bancor protocol like you.
He would lost alot if he do that. The price will adjust with every token you sell(destroy by contract)
So the price he get will extremely low toward the end of the reserve remain. He would better off selling in exchange.
And for any smart token, to empty the reserve, you need to sell (destroy) every smart token that exist. It will eventually bring the price to zero.
For bnt that would be impossible as the bancor team hold alot and the token relay in the app also hold bnt, eventually it doesnt matter if every weak hand sell bnt. Relay and bancor team will hold it more
