I can't seem to get this solomining working.. Did everything as mentioned above, but always get this message in cgminer: pool 0 slow/down or url or credentials invalid
I'm sure my url (localhost) en credentials are ok.. Any advice?

Actually just thought I'd update guys. After getting the "no suitable long-poll" message I left cgminer open for a bit and it started working. After 2 hours of mining, I've made exactly 210 BQC Cheesy

Update doesn't work
i test yesterday but solo mining is better atm

when i try to solo mine bbqcoins, when i  open the client in server mode, i get this error "An error ocured while setting up the rpc port 59332 for listening: open: An address incompatible with the requested protocal was used."

my config file says this:

rpcuser=username here
rpcpassword=password here
rpcport=59332
rpcallowip=localhost (i tried also with 127.0.0.1)

any help?

create bbqcoin.conf @ C:\user\windowsuseraccountname\AppData\Roaming\BBQCoin
Code:
rpcuser=user here
rpcpassword=password here
rpcport=59332

i use cgminer:
Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o localhost:59332 -u username -p password --shaders 1120 --intensity 15 --worksize 256 -g 1

Your address is wrong.  Try http://127.0.0.1:59332
Tried changing it to this and got the message:
No suitable long-poll for 127.0.0.1:59332 :/

I am trying to mine the pool with ScryptMiner GUI with my laptop
but the web site does not update. I think "stats last updated" is stuck at 18:02:53 GMT+2

However I do not find anything, ... No accepted no rejected.

Wow... Well, I may be wrong then...
Give it a try, you'll quickly see what happens: it's around 1 block every 10 minutes
Well I'm kind of having trouble getting it to solo mine in the first place :/

I launch Guiminer and then start the bbqcoin wallet in server mode. Then I close Guiminer down, go into cgminer and I have:
cgminer --scrypt -o http://10.0.0.127:59332 -u xxxx -p xxxx
I also have a bbqcoin conf file in the appdata directory for bbqcoin, with username password, ip and port settings. Then I open up cgminer and get invalid credentials error. Something about pool slow down to. If you could help me get this working that would be great. Happy to send some bqc your way too when I mine a block.

Google 'bitcoin hash calculator' or something like that
Fwiw I found nothing during ~10h at 300kh/s
Ok, I found one for litecoin and then changed the difficulty to 0.15. Apparently I'll be making something stupid like 6000BQC a day?

Please do not hijack this thread for selling coins, make your own thread.

Sorry for the offtopic:
If you need to buy some bqcoins there is a deal right now, and you can get them before they go crazy on the rumored exchange

It was around 0.12 yesterday
Ok, so let’s say its 0.13 now. Does anyone know how to calculate whether my 870 khash would be better off solo mining or joining a pool?
If solo mining is a viable option, how do I calculate how long it will take me to find a block?

Has anyone got a an estimate of how many coins I'd make a day at the current difficulty? 870khash.
Trying to figure out if I should solo mine or mine in a pool.
