Hey I just started an account to invest and am looking to deposit but am getting "Error: Error getting new deposit address" when I click the deposit tab.

Apologies if this is a stupid question but any help on this error would be appreciated.

Hi
We just moved servers and have had to download the blockchain again. It's currently saying 6 weeks behind in syncing so hopefully we have deposit on again in next couple of hours.
I'll post here when we do.

Thanks

I'm interested in investing in the ICO but cannot make an account.  I get an error every time.

The errors are fixed now.

This is a weird one.
I can't reproduce the issue even when I try other peoples reset links who failed so I can't fix it yet.

However if you do get this error email [email protected] and I will set a temp password.

Sorry for inconcenience

After I (Username Loyce) reset the password through my email, https://betking.io/Account/ResetPassword gives me this:
Error.

An error occurred while processing your request.

I'm not using 2FA.
I'm posting this here, as I might not be the only one with this problem.

Edit: resolved!

Hi everyone.

Little update.

I don't know if anyone noticed but we were down over Christmas due to a security breach.
No players lost funds. I lost 18 Btc.
Full details here https://betking.io/help/attack

Obviously I imagine that would have a negative effect on the ICO.

However the site is back up now and so far I've had nothing but support in the forum and emails.

There's still 4 days left of the ICO fund raising period.

Thanks

Wow great, didn't know that hot wallet and cold wallet makes such great differences, lucky only 18 btc was steal.

Well that bounty part impressed me xd

Thanks for keeping us updated. if you have 2FA enabled, it doesnt seem to let you reset at all (just refreshes the page on the reset PW screen when you enter a new PW). Nonetheless i sent a support email already.

Update / Edit: Support fixed the issue and I'm back in my account- other issue

Under investment history it no longer shows how much / when you deposited to the ICO?

Upon further review, my transaction history seems it is totally wrong, its not just missing info for my ICO investment, but deposit history as well. (support in contact with me about this as well and looking into it)

Edit Edit: Support help me figure it out, very helpful and very patient, much appreciated. All sorted.

so how much would it costto have 1million tokens?

30 million tokens cost 2000 BTC, so 1 million would cost 30 times less, or 66.66666667 BTC.

At least, I think that's how it works. There was something about a discount for the people who buy in early and I'm not sure if that affects the price for people who buy in later.

I could have invested in betking if i had not met LISK. I have full trust on Dean. I am just watching this thread to see how much Deal is actually able to raise even 600 BTC at todays price is much much appreciated.

I've made quite a few changes to just make the existing site better while the ico is going on.
Added rakeback and jackpot promos, made things look a bit better and improved chat and pm system a lot.

Nothing major like new product as that will be decided after ICO what we do first but not sitting about waiting either Wink

Also got the possibility of launching a version of BetKing for runescape gold. Seems to be a large amount of users interested in that and a lot of volume potential.

Investors of the ICO will get a share of profit from that site too since it's part of BetKing.

Thanks

That sounds brilliant - especially since its pretty unregulated from what I hear, and totally unregulated if it's at all like what I remember...

10 days left of the fund raising period.

Is the 581.4 count still accurte?

It's now 582.6 Smiley

Haha ok, so same general range. And the plan is still for you to fulfill the rest with your money assuming we can't get to 2k on our own?

Question on that - any reason your old investors aren't sticking around for the new model?

We will see what the current investors agree on. If they want to remain invested while I initially sell the smaller percent then I will also put my own funds in towards it and we will continue like that and I will list more shares for sale via the website.
If the current investors want to refund instead then I will remain just running the site as it is now.

There's a few reasons some of the old investors don't want to do this style of investing.
1) Most common is due to liquidity, they like that they could withdraw their Bitcoin at any time under the old model.
2) Tax purposes. The old model is basically gambling and some investors would not pay tax on earnings in certain jurisdictions.
3) Worry of investing and the total invested being way over target (this one obviously doesn't look to be happening now.
4) Bad timing. While ICONAMI etc got a lot raised ($10 million with no business plan or product while we have a proven profitable business and plan Smiley ) in September we are doing this at the end of year while Bitcoin price is increasing rapidly.

We probably would have had more success if we had announced the ICO well in advanced and had the original post as it is now on day one and also listing it nowhere near the holidays.

However even if we only raise 10% then we still have the ability to sell the remaining 20% at any other time.
