Are your sure about 3000,- US in Marketing? This sounds not really to be a lot. Overall it really sounds too promising. I just try to find what is the down side. Perhaps simply the current marketing budget, because I do not believe this helps to spread the word, which is required to make this one successfull.

I think even $3k is a lot considering the website looks like in the 90's. A professional theme in Themeforest costs about $60, is that too much for a billionaire project?

Again, that was not to get people playing the Raffle and the Burner, but mostly, as I have said before, to get people interested in the ICO.
Once we have good products we will focus more and more on marketing. Right now spending money to advertise unfinished products would be inefficient.

Stay tuned for a sneak-preview of the Raffle code that will be released tonight on GitHub, before the 50% bonus, 24 hour window starts!

We also have a new mascot. Enter sheepo:

You still didn't answer my question. Who is going to use Raffle and Burner after they are deployed? Investors are mostly interested in trading or long term profits, why would they bother to use these 2 games? Sure, maybe a small % will be gambling addicts, but most investors will be people that believe in the project or traders looking for some short/long term profit. This is what I don't get. It's good that you are deploying the 2 games immediately after the ICO, but if very few people would use the games only, wouldn't it be better to release them when it will have more of an impact? Thanks!

The burner gives people extra coins. The Raffle can give some people a lot of extra coins.
I imagine everyone who wants to get extra coins will be playing with the Raffle and the Burner.

Me and my team will personally throw tokens at the two Smart Contracts. For testing purposes mostly.
We will have an initial bug hunting bounty - Whoever finds any bugs in the Raffle and Burner code will win it.
This bounty will run as long as the Raffle and Burner are in alpha and beta test stages.

As time goes on we'd like to create a GUI (Graphical User Interface) for the Raffle and the Burner so that users will find it easier to use these Smart Contracts.

I do not work in marketing but I think before you do strong advertising you have to have the product good and working. If you have it, then you can bring your efforts to product promotion.

I believe that when Ico is over, then Guedog and teams must make fast and massive investments in web marketing, and so players will come ..... and for us the profits  Grin

This coin seems too good to be true. I hope we could get some more information about the team. How do you plan on increasing your casino (better say future casino) user base, which eventually drives up demand ? And what are the estimated projected figures for the user base by end of the year? I am just trying to get some info in order to predict somehow the token's future price for investing purposes. The concept of deflation with low supply and high demand leaves no other choice for the token price but to go up! However, this will never happen if you don't have a clear marketing plan in place to acquire and retain customers.

I come from the marketing world and acquiring/retaining online customers is tricky, especially with no previous experience. Hopefully, you use some of the funds raised through the ICO to hire marketing professionals, as I believe that is the fuel that will lit the fire (more users -> higher demand/lower supply -> higher price). Would appreciate it if you had any input in this aspect, thank you!

Hello,

We will first focus on having a deliverable product that is competitive enough to merit the increase in user base which will eventually drive up demand.
Once we have this product, advertising and keeping users interested will be our primary concern. At this point is when we will start to dedicate more time and money to the marketing side of our project.
Things like getting well-known poker players to talk about our platform and offering very competitive (or zero) commission on all of our games are just some of the things we will want to do.

None of the above matters though, if the poker game and the rest of our games will not live up to the hype. Right now our focus is on succesfully finishing the Token Sale, getting the Raffle and the Burner deployed as soon as possible so that our coin has a use-case right away after the Token Sale - which will keep us on the legal side of things (there have been all of these ICO bans in the US, Canada, China etc. and we do not want to be put in the position where we would have to refund our customers and stop the project). After stage 3 and 4 of our roadmap are finished ("Raffle and Burner go online" and exchange listing) and our deflationary mechanism works flawlessly, and the community is actively engaged in the project (thus creating a network effect where new investors flock in consistently) we can drive our full attention to the Billionaire Hold'em game.

And only after all of this, does marketing really become important. We need to have a competitive product if we wish to have a successful marketing campaign on top of that product.

Thank you for replying back and addressing my concerns. Having a good product before advertising it is essential for the marketing campaign to have success, you are right. However, I still don't get one thing: After deploying Raffle and Burner, which user base will start using the games if you won't advertise them anywhere? Investors only (ICO + exchanges)?

Whenever did we say we're not advertising anywhere? We have already spent over $3000 on various forms of advertising ever since before the start of the ICO.
Right now it's mostly for establishing brand awareness and getting new investors into the project. After we have working products we will focus more and more on marketing.

Pretty smart to stay out in front of the regulations like that.  I hope that you do get the use case deployed in time.  Good luck team.

the total supply would then become 1,938,920 XBL.

As it stands now, that is a very small supply.  I think there will be others who are waiting for a large bonus day or haven't yet found out about this project.  I see the total supply of coins easily into the 2.5 million range.  Which is still a very good amount in circulation.

With all the coins now attempting to cash in on the popularity of POS, Billionaire Token coin being basically the opposite is a breath of fresh air.

I agree, the supply is very reasonable and I am hopeful for this project. So far, it looks like a decent project done by a dedicated team.

hahaha, you guys are crazy. this is really interesting and btw, who made that pic? thats some funny cartoon! exactly what i espect from a hillbilly

We are pretty fortunate to have a very talented artist that works for us, she's the one that made those cartoons.
Will there be a hard supply cap for the tokens? I felt like I saw one earlier but maybe my memory is deceiving me.

There will never be more than the current circulating supply at the moment: 3,315,371.9999 XBL

After the ICO we will burn whatever is left in the ICO address account ( 0x0ebc164451dbabde43ba587b4a3327d435728e15 )

If the ICO were to end today, or nobody would buy anything until the deadline, we would burn a total of 1,376,451 XBL. So the total supply would then become 1,938,920 XBL.

The token does not have a mint coin function, so creating new coins is not possible. It's only possible to destroy them:

https://etherscan.io/token/0x49aec0752e68d0282db544c677f6ba407ba17ed7

You can also check a live counter for the circulating supply and total burned on our website: http://billionairetoken.com/about

what is Hilbilly Whitepaper ?
same, what means Hillbilly?

Hillbillies are a certain type of people living in the mountain and rural areas of the United States.
They have developed their own dialect of the English Language. It's quite interesting.

Our bounty campaign managed to attract a very skilled English Professor who helped us translate our Whitepaper and ANN into the Hillbilly Dialect.

It will, at the very least, be an interesting lecture:)

HAHAHA  YES . . I just might have a little bit of experience with Hillbilly's in my neck of the woods . . see I can tak lyke won of dose doods wen I git my fagnars wet.

Glad that the code release will be soon.  Liking this project more and more every day.
