I'm living in Asia, to far from Canada to do any police reports.

I lost a lot!

I'm waiting and hoping we can do something together.

I am mulling over filing a small claims lawsuit in my jurisdiction. If I can get the court to issue subpoenas I might be able provide real information on these guys. Once I figure out the potential cost for process servers etc. I will compare it to my potential recovery amounts and see if it would be worth it. In PA this is a rather easy thing to do, I just need to make sure the potential recovery will be more than I end up spending. My father in law is an attorney and tells me that these guys could face criminal charges in the US as well if we can get their identities. He mentioned securities fraud, wire fraud, and theft by deception as a few possible outcomes. These are state and federal felony charges in the US so if the site operators are reading this the time to speak up is now.

Sorry to see this, I hadn't invested but I hope that everyone who has lost money reports it to the Canadian authorities, its about time we saw someone prosecuted for defrauding the Bitcoin community (if indeed that is what has happened). Freedom from regulation doesn't mean that existing laws don't apply, so far it seems that the message is you can steal/lose bitcoins without any consequences.

Everyone, please report your case with the Canadian Anti-fraud Centre (1-888-495-8501), this is a devision of the RCMP which conducts preliminary investigations on pottential fraud cases. You do not have to be located in Canada or be a Canadian citizen to report.

Please be succinct in reporting the following:
The organization is called "bit-mining.co", and here is some of their contact information:
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bitmining
Twitter: https://twitter.com/Bit_Mining
Old Twitter: https://twitter.com/Sarif_Hosting
Ebay: http://www.ebay.ca/usr/demontn
Whois: http://whois.domaintools.com/bit-mining.co
Skype: bit-mining.co BMC
bitcointalk.org user: demontn

We need to make this a higher priority case for them, and the only way to do this is by everyone calling in and reporting. The more reports they receive regarding the pottential fraud conducted by bit-mining.co and demontn, the higher priority this case will be become, the more likely a investigation will be conducted by the RCMP, and the sooner we'll get answers.

The call wait time can be a bit long (was on hold for 12 minutes before I spoke to someone), so make sure you set aside enough time to do this.
Canadian Anti-fraud Centre (1-888-495-8501).

You should each also report this with your local Police authority.

I've contacted with Toronto financial crimes department and this is their answer:

Quote
Good afternoon:

Thank you for your information.  In order for the Toronto Police Service to investigate this matter you are required to make a police report to your local police service. Your local police service will forward your report and supporting evidence to the Toronto Police Service to commence an investigation. If there is sufficient criminal evidence to prosecute this matter in Canada, you would be required to personally attend court in Toronto

Financial Crimes Unit
416-808-7300

I have no posibilities to travel to Toronto to attend this matter, this is crazy. If this is a real scam and they require me there it will be impossible. I can't afford it. If anyone lives near please try to contact their local police service and report this possible scam. Thanks.

just communicate with us. I may not have lost much, but 51 ghs is not a drop in the bucket considering the amount of time to make a return.

whomever is keeping the google doc, add me to the list.

Ya it was allot to me, had worked very hard to build up the portfolio, after taking hits on prices and difficulty, then on March 24th seeing my NMC's swapped for DVC coins was really heartbreaking, that software bug should never have been my fault, nor withdrawal requests left unprocessed, dividends left unpaid etc...  Please everyone add yourself to Dexster's list so this can better be brought to the attention of legal authorities.  Although I wasn't the one whom lost 5000+ nmcs from this programming error, I did loss 76+ nmc's & then most of the rest of my investment stuck in a withdrawal that was never processed for nearly a month now.

@Bit-Mining.co if your on here, it would be best for you to say so, as 'many' of your previous customers & supporters ARE working together to compile a case against you, these issues are about to escalate to the next level of pain for you if you don't respond.

I don't get why everyone is tuning each other. We are in the same boat. If we want to get somewhere we need to work together.

Yeah what's most frustrating about this is that demontn has actually been online on [Suspicious link removed]ince I messaged him.
At this point it's beyond any doubt that they are ignoring us.

I will be filling a claim with the police today against the site and it's operator for crimes of theft over 5,000$.
