BCH/BTC price is also valid as most people just care about how many free bitcoins they get from the bcash gift to bitcoin hodlers.

In what one senior analyst calls a struggle “to remain relevant,” Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has been burning $12 worth of its own supply every day — hoping the increased scarcity will help in its fight against its dominant competitor, Bitcoin (BTC).

Very much surprises growth of this coin recently. Kind of a lot of bad did not speak about this coin, but it all the same allows people to make good money and remain in profit. But unfortunately I am not a supporter of this project and these coins at me is not present. So I watch from outside this growth. It nothing terrible I think.

Replace Fees by complexity (1MB noHF UASF SW LN 2NDL ...)

The unneeded complexity is the equivalent of some unneeded new middlemen, invited into / by core.

You pay that middlemen with higher fees.

 Grin

All very interesting, and probably true too, but there is a great deal of resistance to overcome before most people, and institutes, will relenquish Bitcoin for some other altcoin.

Kodak, Nescape, Nokia ... takes not much time in tech world.

Everyone of these failed trying to hang on to legacy tech rather than trying something new and innovating
isnt that what blockstream core are doing with og btc  aka bitcoin legacy?

New and innovating is what BCH is, allowing these cool features that i and others believed were never possible on og btc.
Thanks to the lies, censorship and stagnation of btc by core.  self proclaimed guardians of btc...makes no sense to me.
They wanted all innovation to go through them, so they could make profit for their companies...https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/8edkvf/bitcoin_cashs_goal_is_to_reclaim_bitcoin_from_the/

ok we all know blockstreamcore changed op_return to stop people building things on btc blockchain..https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/80ycim/a_few_months_after_the_counterparty_developers/dv1o8pl/
we know they wanted to go down to 300kb..forcing people to use their sidechains...
and now i hear this....https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/8ebsn4/an_interesting_story_about_the_alert_system/
(i read comments about how the alert system was changed to stop gavin..again core did this... (Mr Stolfi explains this very well. ,thanks m8)

Some opcodes had serious security issues and the rest were disabled as a precaution.

There is no need to have these onchain when smart contract etc and other things can be done on a sidechain and merged mined with Bitcoin

This way it does not bloat the main chain with unnecessary junk and removes all security risks.

After hardfork will be two bitcoincash?? The old and the new or is only an software and net upgrade?

Nobody knows unlikely to be a split though most splits come from miners keeping the legacy chain alive but since this is a split from the miners then it's highly unlikely as the miners will always upgrade

tek, do you follow everything blockstreamcore does?
if you do, please speak up and tell us how much control they have over the ENTIRE og btc chain because of segwet/ln.

You need to decide if it's blockstream or core because both are very different

Core is of of many Bitcoin implementations that follow the consensus rules while blockstream is a Bitcoin developer just like all the others just because they have produces some notable contributions does not mean they are in control

@ tek....
https://cryptocoremedia.com/gregory-maxwell-bitcoin/
Origin of blockstream
blockstream created by bitcoin core  is the most significant contributor to the bitcoin core software.

Core is a software implementation while blockstream contribute code to the protocol along with many other developers that are not part of blockstream

blockstream don't have access to merge changes

just because they have produces some notable contributions does not mean they are in control - your words.

blockstream created by bitcoin core  is the most significant contributor to the bitcoin core software. - https://cryptocoremedia.com/gregory-maxwell-bitcoin/

who is bitcoin core?
what is the name of their software implementation for og btc?
what is the name of the company created by bitcoin core?
what is the name of the protocol that blockstream contribute code too?

who is bitcoin core?
Everyone who contributes here is a image with the top contributors

what is the name of their software implementation for og btc?
Bitcoin Core, Bitcoin Knots, Bitcore, Btcd off top of my head plus the rest

what is the name of the company created by bitcoin core?
Bitcoin Core

what is the name of the protocol that blockstream contribute code too?
Bitcoin

So in the last 12 months chaincode labs look to have contributed the most http://chaincode.com/#team

1. Who owns access to Bitcoin github?
2. Why your github contribution page is filtered?
3. Have you done research on how these companies sponsored and what similarities do they have?
4. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Core are synonyms? No?

There is a Hard Fork scheduled for Bitcoin Cash, despite the recent forks, this time they will only reestablish the software.
There will not be any new coins released.

Why is there a bitcoincash ? (RALLY) or bust ?

Usually every coin is pegged to BTC. There is an abnormal spike that is putting BCH well above the Bitcoin curve. I have 6 BCH and I'm curious where I should sell or if I should sell at all... Is the May 15th fork a peak or is it the beginning?

Thats your personal judgement call, the price rises due to interest and speculation on holding both of the coins.    People are willing to believe an overall gain may occur and just the collective consensus of more people holding that coin is enough to raise the bids vs offers on the market.   That effect snowballs and you end up with no small gain in the price.
Look at the fork and consider if its justified perhaps, I guess that would be the biggest question.   I'm pretty surprised any fork is happening, Im sure I have a wallet I have not claimed from the original fork that occured.  I guess I should look into that before the 15th ?

I'll also look at a graph for BCH to layout possible price points to watch

Every bcash pump is abnormal and manipulated. Usually people end up buying the top and become bagholders and sockpuppets, which you can spot immediately and feel sad about the situation they got themselves into.
