Thanks for filling my BCH orders Kiss

The race of pumps (by fiat or lend hash) is a short term one.

Long term only sustainable factors are relevant. Use and userbases. Industrial adoption is next step - to get out here of bottom up hobby projects.

And we need more than just mining and exchanges (pure speculation).

Less hops. More wins.
This war is harming the whole ecosystem we can see the situation turned into worse after this fork.

there is no ecosystem.  there is bitcoin and there is test nets.  The rest is learning curve.

BCH or BSV??? Is there someone, come one tell me why I should hold or buy this shit??
These two forked coins are cancelling each other out and are having a race to the bottom - think about it, this debacle was a power struggle between two megalomaniacs and the biggest losers are the
bagholders who should have sold before the fork, and the biggest winner is BTC which sat on the sidelines watching the shit show -  its downhill all the way.

BCH and BSV are dead. All miners should just go mine some BTC. Look at the charts Sad

lose: unfind ... loose: untight

Ho hum. Silly attack is silly.

First one need find a collision (where's the math - nothing on that in the 'paper'), then one must get a majority of the network to accept that this new tx chain need be substituted for the tx at that position in the chain that they have agreed to accept since months/years/decades.

Is it possible? Sure - in the sense that collisions are possible. Minus some significant derating for having to overcome settled history. Is it computationally feasible? Not bloody likely. After that gate is passed, is it socially feasible? I say nay.

So many bad news about ABC and SV than it become very difficult for new people to decide which one is legit and where to move their money. This war is harming the whole ecosystem we can see the situation turned into worse after this fork.

Bitcoin ABC Economics
some points about sv too

The mining attack he describes is also fully applicable to BTC. It's all just a matter of scale, driven by that moment's price.

Of course, such mining attack would likely result in a negative price event, decreasing the profitability of the double spend.

It's especially dicey for all right at this moment, with depressed prices leading to a glut of used hash power on the market.

On Jimmy's description of a corrupt dev writing a bad checkpoint, that is certainly a possibility. That could be included in a version update. But who would run that code? Likely nobody.

innovation requires a novel idea.  Therefore to say ABC have innovation means they must have an idea that is new and ALSO improves upon existing nature of things.  This last part they do not have.  Plus the ideas they claim are new really are old core ideas that everyone agreed were FAIL years ago...
