Whatever the reason is but this coin is dead now. Code failed.. It may be the dev who staked many coins himself only to dump on the market

Sorry for the long silence, it takes time to sort out things like this.  As per our usual response, if we detect something wrong with a blockchain where the dev _might_ be involved, I like to post a public statement so everyone has the same information at the same time.  Exchanges were informed earlier today when our security measures kicked off.

There seems to be a problem with the "lucky" staking code from what we can tell at this time.  There are blocks that were accepted with POS rewards up to 3.3M which is why outside the rate for the coin.  Additionally, as of right now there are way more coins in existence than the wallet thinks there should be:

    "balance" : 24751980.90800208,
    "stake" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 4655,
    "timeoffset" : 0,
    "moneysupply" : 21073266.40374496,

This is our current supply.  C-Cex and yobit have another combined 5-6M.  At this time, we don't know if this is malicious or an error in the staking code.  We have cancelled all orders on the market and closed the wallet for the time being.  If the devs can please contact us and come up with a solution, we will reopen the market.  If we an agreed solution cannot be agreed upon, we will close the market and open the wallet for withdrawal only.

thanks,
richie@bittrex

So in fact it can just be a error in the code. Can that not be clarified? Who mine that coin, from where was it coming? Is there anything in the code written that a block will be created of 3.3M? This looks more a software bug then a scamming problem.

regardless if bug or scam attempt coin tainted,

I had 300K but dumped it to rebuy cheaper. I bought 50K and then market has been disabled.
So, if this coin will die, I have nothing lost in BTC when I bought it at ~300 sats on EmpoEX, except this 50K BT.

And I'm not only one who sold. I'm not a whale even not a bagholder, coz there was much much bigger holders than me, so if they are sold to rebuy, this 10M dump can be from different people.

Indeed. I've bought 1M coin at 100Sats, it is a risk, but if nothing is wrong then i make a easy 3 BTC profit.

seems like you just lost 1btc

if devs are in europe time is at least 9pm could be nearer midnight if further russia way

hype runs crypto and its incredible to see the way the messages in this thread turn from positive to negative

people should just take a break from thinking about it, i can understand why people get panicky if dev hasnt said anything but neither has bittrex yet so just sit patient

Hello, dear friends!
In few hours we are going to release ours, written by us, block explorer. We tried our best to create really comfortable tool for analyze. It could not only display blocks, transactions and rich list. It allows you predict market cap changes taking into account lucky stake, take into account different price in different time and showing full quantity of sent money not only in BT, but also in BTC, USD and PLN (just kidding). We are creating statistic of price since coin was released, so you could track the whole history up to the first block. But this isn't all. Stay tuned and you will be surprised

Yup... Surprised we are  Sad

Does make me wonder: they didn't have a block explorer at launch, people complain about it and suddenly they have a "self coded" block explorer with a lot of features.
That should have made my alarm bells go of... But it didn't...

And the surprise? We received it already... We just don't realize...

They said they were coding an explorer days ago.

Can you point me to that post? Wink

Never mind: found it myself

Block explorer will be ready on Sunday or Monday

still possible to dump at ccex , some crazy folks buying

No crazy folks buying. Just smart market manipulators. This coin is not a scam. If it were a scam, dev would never sell so cheaply his coins. He would have kept it alive and sell bits by bits. That's how a scam works.

This is clearly a malfunctioning of Bittrex (maybe intentional even). HOLD YOUR COINS and buy more if you can. We all know this is the next Crave. Things will come back to normal by tomorrow.
cant sell bits by bits when people keep requesting for blockexplorer. you dont find it weird that first dev started hyping in here , then 1 0m coins were dumped and then delisted?
