A very cool device, I'd love to have it. I checked the webpage, and I found it costs 899 yen, i.e. 8 EUR. Is it true?
It's not Japanese yen; it's Chinese Yuan=¥899, i.e. 118 EUR.
We will list it on Amazon and eBay. Please stay tuned!

I thought it is Japanese Yen as well when I visit the link to buy it. A bit shocked to be honest because the price is so cheap if using Japanese Yen Smiley Probably you need to use $ to make it easier, at least no one will be misunderstand about the price like me before.

Thank you for your suggestion. We will list it on amazon and other online shops. Definitely it will be $ priced.

Its a cool device but not really ideal on storing up crypto. What wallet you are referring to?

Imagine someone ask you what time is it, and you show him your watch saying : Balance BTC 18 BTC, time 12:12:12...

You make a very valid point here, this will surely make you a target for robbers and thieves and pick pockets, if they recognize these watches on the street. It is also easy to look over someone's shoulder when they enter the pin code to access the device.  Roll Eyes

I guess the same can be done with wallets on your mobile phone, but a watch like this might be easier to recognize when they become more popular.

A small fingerprint scanner could solve this problem or some kind of voice recognition.  Roll Eyes

Small fingerprint scanner or voice recognition wont work if someone would threat you a $5 wrench.  Grin

Among them, the the multi-sig of ETH, EOS and USDT are the first multi-sig solution worldwide as well.

:)I have been looking for a hardware wallet for a long time. I just saw the crowdfunding information on the indiegogo.com about BITHD. I am very interested in that. Plus, it's price is not expensive. I want to give it a shot.

The same can be said about carrying a conventional wallet holding fiat. I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to carry a lot of crypto on your wrist. This is more likely intended as a wallet for small (daily) transactions.

Exactly - the watch should be marketed as a hot wallet, not cold wallet.

I think title may be a bit confusing, this is not cold wallet in the literal sense of the word, since this wallet watch is use bluetooth communication with phone in order to send/receive transaction. Actually it works on the same principle as new Ledger Nano X, and we know that this is hardware wallet.

This watch hardware wallet is just simpler way to use your HW if you are have the need to travel and spend/receive coins on the go. Since many people have problems that customs is checking their devices on airports, this watch may be fairly safe way (for now) to take your crypto across borders.

In connection with this, I'm interested if this watch can only show time as an ordinary watch or it is always show coin balance with time&date? In my opinion there should be option to show only time, which would significantly contribute to privacy. Imagine someone ask you what time is it, and you show him your watch saying : Balance BTC 18 BTC, time 12:12:12...

I am new to crypto, all coins are stored on exchange, I am thinking about buying Ledger, Trezor or your product, I know both of them are open-source, so I can't see the difference of security issue.

Isn't this initiative rather dangerous. I mean, walking around woth your cold wallet on you. That's like telling a whole bunch of people you meet wherever you go that hey look, I have cash on me and I've got it all on my hand. Anyways even if someone can't use it after stealing, it is still dangerous walking around telling people you have money.

Even if not telling about it, the user will surely be robbed by having it on their wrist as once this comes out, those who're in the muse of fetching it all away from the user will become alert and do whatever they can (at their local premises only as they already know about the watch now) to rob you and suck out even the last drop of your whole crypto savings. I believe there is one project where the devs are developing something like a chip that can be installed in our hand and we can use our wallet through our eyes being scanned and what not. If that becomes possible, I don't see any reason as to why people would go for such things that could be life-threatening to them.

I guess it will go under the disguise of just a simply watch, unless you tell others that you have a cold wallet in you. But nevertheless, I won't be comfortable as well, I'm not a frequent traveler but I guess this is what the company is targeting as a potential customer. I guess more questions will be raise once their product roll out in April, so let's see how it pans out.
