I know there are many platforms that share parttime jobs for students and emplorers, and generally, the emplorers pay for students' work directly, so my question is why they have to use STU to pay?

They don't - the portal will provide options to pay in fiat, but there will be inbuilt incentives to use STU for which we are currently building partnerships.

Exactly! Are you a student yourself? Have you registered for the site?

until now I am still holding even though I would not benefit on the platform as I am no longer a student myself.
This year I am hoping for bigger update that would bring us to bigger exchanges.

I have similar experience as yours, I think the students are very active and willing to take part time job to earn more money, especially many foreign students, so I choose to hold STU at least one year.

Yes, throughout my college experience I always worked at least 10 hours per week along with studying full time, This was not uncommon either in Ireland (my home country), I would have appreciated anything that made working part-time more accessible and manageable back then. Would be great to see this project get more mainstream attention!
