Is there a working explorer for this coin?

Im assuming the one here is valid? https://chainz.cryptoid.info/apex/ Those guys are pretty good about staying on top of them

Im resyncing our wallet so we can enable trading at cryptsy again

The working block explorer is here:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/swift/

Yes it is operating on the correct chain.

We had tried to notify Cryptsy on numerous occasions to update to the latest code.

Ok, after further investigation, it looks like I am currently downloading blocks but there is nothing on the new wallet GUI indicating that I am syncing or that blocks are downloading.

The only way I can tell I am downloading blocks and syncing is in the console area calling getinfo.

Looks like I'm about half way synced.

If you hover your mouse over the check mark icon on the main window it will tell you what block you are synced up to.  Alternatively, click on Help ->Debug Window -> Information Tab.  In there it says what block you are on.

click "help"

then "debug window"

under "BLOCK CHAIN" details you should see 'last block time' syncing (catching) up to the most recent block date.

under that syncs the main screen on your wallet will still say "out of sync" in red font.

this new wallet doesn't have the little spinning 'syncing' arrow emblem going round n' round on the main wallet, hence why you have to do the above just to check where it's at.

Some users have been reporting issues syncing on a fresh install.

Please download and use the below bitswift.conf file to force an insta-connection to the network.

https://mega.co.nz/#!r5EzEIAa!soSQktRCECIt5h2wdf5chBYNVcDrj-K7MMWKXFZ5stg

Place the file in the follow folders (dependent on OS used)

Linux:

~/.bitswift/

MacOS:

~/Library/Application Support/bitswift/

Windows:

%APPDATA%\bitswift

I am still unable to sync with the new wallet.  I get connected to peers, currently 7 active connections but the blockchain never downloads and there is no attempt to sync.  I even tried deleting my old wallet and files and same thing.

Well done bitswift team, some really strong steps in the right direction
I agree, love seeing these things taking shape. Lots of work in "meatspace" as they say.  Heard on the slack that dev has also signed up some local clients for swiftBackup, that's pretty badass IMO.

for real.  it's coins like this that expand their horizons above and beyond the crypto-world that will hold true value now and into the not-so-distant future.  just amazing the work going on behind the scene with this coin and it's a breath of fresh air vs. all the bullshit scam coins out there right now.

legit dev and actual REGISTERED company and trademark brand, in addition to REAL WORLD usage...awesome (so much for CANN big news on that lol, this coin is actually DOING it, and ppl are asleep to it).

swift is a steal at the price it's at now (i'm holding strong on this one) cause it's gonna blast off one day i'm certain.  (with or without whales manipulation/bot b.s.)

Bitswift Decentralized Applications (the registered Canadian company behind bitswift) has filed a trademark application for "bitswift"

The application was swiftExisted into the bitswift blockchain at:

Transaction ID: 744fb67d3f7b0ec91e207a7443e075cea6c1d8a7e5f846790f8be3a36cea0ff6
as hash : {"hash":"4bd927a3e1a9a2b71a8034526dab595f35ad33c084f95662d7ca0768ee7fbe8e"}
with Narration n_0: bitswit TM Application

We have some bigger things in the pipeline and at this point we will be ensuring the brand name is protected.

Thank You,

it's an address where you can send coins!

Don't think it's an address. Looked it up on the block explorer. Maybe it's something else.

We will be back online here shortly.  We are in the process of updating swift v2 wallet and gathering all the other information we want to share here.  For now, the current version 2 wallet on our website is safe to run on main net.

Type help in the console to see some funky commands that allow you to do cool things!

We will be back soon,

-bitswift
