support is taking weeks to respond.
My brother had the exact same problem, he submitted required documents and it went through. his account's status now is "enhanced", took ~4 weeks to get reply from bittrex to enable his account. he withdrew all his crypto asap and moved to binance.
i hope you get a reply soon, it's painful to have funds locked in.

That user is probably referring to the changes that were made recently that caused legacy accounts to be frozen essentially and people unable to withdraw their funds without any prior warning.  Unlike a quality exchange like Polo which is giving plenty of warning of upcoming account changes. I don't want to rehash all that again, but long story short I agree with him; Bittrex is trash and should be sued.
yes exactly. shittrex decided to hold my monies pending verification without tell me first, that is a crime!

Bittrex is a scam exchange that has cost a lot of people a lot of money.  I would suggest if you still use them to use a different exchange instead, there are many options that are far better.  These scammers don't deserve your money.

You must understand that every exchange you use will be "GOOD" until problem occurs, after that you will know exactly how good or bad service really is. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to compare because it's not like you got same type of problems at 2 different exchange at the same time.

For example. if you had problem on Bittrex before  crypto world exploded, your problem would be solved in a matter of day or two.

It's seams that all exchanges currently suffer from same illness, all of them are understaffed.

Okay....I ordered a brand new identification card because Bittrex claimed that they couldn't verify my other one.  And, I'm not surprised ---> Even with a brand spanking new, USA issued, Identification Card, they still wont verify my account.  I just want my money back....that's all!  I have sent them everything that they've requested multiple times....there is nothing more I can do to prove my identity, accept show up in person.

UPDATE: My account has finally, just now, been verified....I still do not trust them because the delay over the past several months has costed me a significant amount of value.

Just solved my reserved BTC problem and this is how

GOT MY ACCOUNT SORTED THANKS TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB)

After 4 months of frustration and stress, tried everything no success to get my account enabled.  Someone mentioned the BBB https://www.bbb.org/en/us, were taking complaints and they would contact Bittrex. I went online and filled in the form, explained my situation, the BBB replied within few hours and they sent the complaint to Bittrex and within 48 hours, had my account enabled after 4 long months!!!. BBB sent me an email to see if my complaint was resolved satisfactorily. Thank you, Better Business Bureau for your help!! They already had over 100 complaints regarding Bittrex, 99% have been sorted. Try it out.

Wow, I never considered using BBB, they always seemed pointless.

I just checked, Bittrex has 177 (edit: now 222, edit: now 299) complaints in < 1 year, that seems pretty crazy. I'm sure 90% are actually within the last 6-8 months.

Is this what Bittrex really wants? Is for people to go through BBB instead of actually solving problems directly?

Kind of seems like it to me, as they still act like they haven't done anything wrong.

What could be achieved via this lawsuit? Everybody gets their coins back or maybe portion of it, or something else? What kind of actions it requires other than filling the form? What can go wrong?

I guess your funds can be frozen untill the class action suit has come to an end, unsure what is best, to wait and hope for bittrex or to talk active steps
