does auto arbitration work now  Huh

Yes, it works.

5% Bittrex-Polo arb with enough coins on balances and default settings doesn't work.

Yes, it does work. I use it every day.

If you have it set at 5% it's probably just not finding any arb opportunities in your markets as 5% is pretty high.

Do you see that it is checking for arb opportunities and returning 'NO'? If so, then lower your % to 1-2%.

I have latest QTL trader, >10000 qtl at bittrex and default settings for arb: BTC holdings to use 100%, coin holdings to use 100%, min percentage 1%
Anyway, in that 5% case it said: Fail exceeded percentage allowed for arbitrage in Poloniex or balance =0

Ok well that means that either the arb opportunity was too small (it didn't meet the minimum order requirements for Polo/Bittrex) or it could also mean that Polo's API is buggy as it has been. They are working on updating their API and oftentimes it will return to QTL that your balance is 0 when it is not. If that is the case, there's not much we can do but wait for Polo to finish updating their API. Relaunching the QTL app may help in these instances as well.

I repeat, arb opportunity was 5%, 3% and now 1,38%. And treshold in QTL trader is default, 1%. Restarting app didn't help. So I do trading manually, third time)

Yeah, I don't think you understood what I was talking about. It sounds like perhaps the arb opportunity did not meet minimum order requirements and that is why it could not execute. Poloniex/Bittrex have minimum order requirements of .0005. An arb opportunity can meet the minimum % threshold you set in the app, but it still won't execute if it doesn't meet the exchanges' minimum order requirements.

The other possible culprit, as I have said, is that Poloniex's API was having a buggy moment.

I was going ask about the Arbitrage not working but in hindsight I think the minimum order value may very well be my problem.

EDIT:

It was user error on my part that was the cause. When using the newer version I forgot to save the keys and restart the program.Everything works as intended now.

so at the moment: it will find the Arb, but will not execute the trade, until update is released. Nice manual arb bro.

Works just fine for me. Shrug...

confirm - today it works fine

does it work now with cryptsy.com or not? I don't see clear answer written here

You need to have 15k QTL in your Bittrex or Poloniex account in order to unlock Cryptsy.

Forgive me if it is located somewhere obvious and I am simply missing it, but where could a change log be found for versions of the Quatloo Trader program? I am about to start using the 2.3.1.8 version and I wish to look through the changes for due diligence sake. And thank you for keeping Quatloo Trader improvements in mind and in your schedule.

Still, quite worrying enough what they did there.

Which Firewall would you recommend then?

My basic set :

PFsense + IDS/IPS (i.e Snort, Suricata)

Squid proxy + squidguard to filter ads/malware etc.

And on my local windows pc(s) :

Eset Smart Security
Malwarebytes Antimalware
Adblock Plus
Emet

Especially PFsense is worth trying if you like security.

Comodo ? If you are really that 'Careful' i would suggest not to use Comodo stuff Smiley
Might want to google : Comodo PrivDog  Wink
Thanks a lot, always happy to learn.  And yes, I googled that. Very interesting, thanks.
No need for privDog - I don't see any ads; µBlock is quite good - plus after all those years, I have a filter in my brain which is able to fully ignore any kind of advertisement ;-)

Now with Quatloo Trader, and Comodo Firewall + HIPS, that has become tedious.
I counted 48 clicks to teach Comodo. What are they?

[...]

Happy about explanations.  Thanks!
Great program by the way, I am using it more and more.
Really useful. Kudos for the good work! :-)

Or perhaps someone with more knowledge about those registry keys could give us an explanation why QuatlooTrader is so active e.g. in \Software\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\ ?
Thx!
