IMO blacksend is attracting support not only from the dark side (illegal activity) but also from people who believe in the animosity that it offers.  Do you think that companies would like to reveal where money is being sent?  Do you think Intel would want their checkbook open for scrutiny open to the public block-chain?

Darksend and its derivatives seems to be a good application for private industry and private people and therefore it seems important for BC to supported.

I agree in some way, but how about audits. What if Intel would need to be auditted? Would it be possible?

Anonymous is the new hype

Liberty and Exe coin now

Their price rise

What u think about implement a 50% anonymous?
People can switch like the Drk RC2

Better focus and add something new and unique which is good to go with "store of wealth" image...
DRK hype will be over when whey will release darksend to open source
and new will come Tor coin like Annon with zerocoin inplemented or zerocash.
...
Imo we shouldn't focus on black market

My personal opinion is that a darksend feature is not viable in the future. It's nice and fun to do it from the client instead of via a coin-mixing service online. The problem with it coming from the client is that you'd actually promote the anonimity of 'criminal' or 'less legal' transactions. We want stuff to stay transparant in that regard and I do think that's the main power of the blockchain technology.

It seems that now the new wave on cryptocurrencies is the Darksend function or anonymity,  I´d like to know what is the possibility to have that function implemented in blackcoin code, "Blacksend" or something like this.

As an investor I want to know what the chances in % of "Blacksend" or anonymity be implemented to blackcoin.

1-How long would it takes?

2-Rat4 is working on it?

3-Does community can offer some reward for help to implement this function in Blackcoin code?

You give a shit what BC implements... why? Thought you were all up on XLB's junk these days and crapping on BC.
Chiggins, while I admiee the passion, and you standing up for our coin(given that he has been very active on the XLB forum, please refrain from attacking him outright. he did ask a legitimate concern, it is up to us to answer politely, directly, and as knowledgeable as possible.by doing this you do not give trolls ammunition,or offend people.if they turn the discussion from concern to FUD,then we know to ignore and move on.

Chiggins, I really do not know what kind of person are you, but I still believe in blackcoin, but unlike of you I'm here publicly offering a reward of 5BTC to Rat4 or anyone who can implement the "Blacksend" function or "Anonymity function" for blackcoin within 30 days. I think we should have the function "Blacksend" in "Blackcoin" right now!

With respect to other currencies, I have invested in them too, especially after everything that happened with "Blackcoin".

I agree but we all can't decipher human psychology, no matter how hard we try.  There are always elements of which we will never comprehend.  Like the creepy neighbor, the outspoken friend, the annoying aunt, the bitchy friend of your gf/spouse.  People are, for better or worse, who they are and it's up to us to decide how we want to handle it.  Do we fight a never ending battle to the death (there are no winners online) or do we proceed with all things BC?

Let's just move on, we are at a pivotal point.

Awesome!

I think a good question : Does MBA itself have any plans now or in the future to invest and promote BlackCoin outside of (or go beyond) what the community is paying it to do?

I feel a little bit for Iconic, he started off well but has now blown all his credibility and will be dogged by scam accusations till the end of time.

Notice how the thread was just fine without IE for many pages and as soon as he comes back in, you can tell it's starting to get derailed again. Just ignore.

I received my BlackCoin Card last Friday and here are a few insights:

1) Fit and finish are top notch
2) You can't help but think you are holding something potentially big and cutting edge, the future
3) Effort and packaging are A+
4) I have not plugged in to review software, but if it's anything close to what has been screenshot'd on this forum, it will be very tastefully done.

Everyone knows I've said I'd reserve my judgement until I receive/don't receive my BlackCoin Card.  Say what you will about IE but he did not have to fulfill current and future orders.  Any professional adult knows that the ramifications are too great and we all know, he is about his reputation so this is a good reflection of it.  I'm certain now, unless I'm proven otherwise, that the Wall St. funds and whatever corresponds from the community and how its allocated, is safe and will be handled properly.

For all of you that complain about pricing and his business acumen, let's say the card was $2 (and it probably isn't), software beta and implementation, plus labor (this and software alone warrants a higher asking price), shipping for me was labeled $3.95, $20 is a steal compared to what it would be worth for value and ease of use in the future, if you choose to see the future.  IMO, this is probably not worth all the trouble and time.  If you can do better, do it!

Thank you IE for the BlackCoin Card

its @ 20.00 hours for us in EU

"Our goal is to keep Max Borges Agency current and evolving with changing technology,” said Max Borges, CEO. “BlackCoin represents a new model for simple and fast transactions in the Internet era, and is a catalyst to reshape the financial system in ways that provide opportunities for individuals and businesses alike. Just as email fundamentally transformed how we communicate with one another, BlackCoin has the potential to revolutionize how we think of, and exchange, money. We are excited for what the future holds."

Thanks that is a good number for a coin to be fair.

Also the growth will probably be less than that - and to be honest might still be slightly deflationary if you take into account lost wallets.  (After all, it's not the number of wallets lost that matters... it's the number of coins in them).

Add to that the fact that some people will have put their wallets on thumbdrives and deleted the clients for long-term cold storage. While it's possible they will load them to stake at least once per year, it's also quite likely that they did that because they don't feel the coins are safe on any Internet connected machine.

I'm figuring that after the first full year of existence we'll see around 500K coins actually added to the total... and it might be less than that when you consider how many people leave their coins on the exchanges (and MintPal doesn't stake their coins AFAIK).
