Well - I wonder if it's not risky to promote a tools that basically dump BC for Fiat.  I guess it's a start - but we realy need to find ways to have merchands accepting BC directly (same for BTC or any other currency).

Well you know the merchant will be the one selling the crypto in that case.   There arent many businesses who themselves keep capital in crypto, only if they could pay their suppliers similarly.   Allowing wider use is key to getting it accepted as a holdable currency

Really theres nothing wrong with making it an open market, normal currency is a weak situation, Yen, Euro, Dollar and many others are all printing more every day for their government to pay bills with.
Where as blackcoin may be subject to wider speculation but you know there is not a great source of new currency coming online.  It is what it is, an open door to fiat and back again is fine and helps build confidence I think and more usage by more people really is key to any crypto.

Volume traded remains quite low now I think

I find it very interesting how such a small amount of BTC can influence the price, when there is such little movement.

Yesterday I set my buy order to 9100 Satoshi for ~4.5btc. It JUST hit that trade a few hours ago you can see on the graph then BOOM it went to just under 11,000 Satoshi.

Yeah I'm disappointed with the current price especially considering the amount of coin I have. But hey I wouldn't have bought more if I didn't think this was going places.

I didn't actually expect my buy order to go through, so am pleasantly surprised. And I think for the first time in a while I have actually bought in at a good position.

Can someone give me the quick and dirty about black coin? It seems interesting and I'd like to be told more Smiley

Hi, you'll be able to find interesting facts right there (These are still work in progress) :

Well - I wonder if it's not risky to promote a tools that basically dump BC for Fiat.  I guess it's a start - but we realy need to find ways to have merchands accepting BC directly (same for BTC or any other currency).

That being said - I would like to say that you BC guys are doing great.  I still own some - and if I had to bet on a ''top 10 crypto with the best chances to survive and thrive'', I would put some money on BC.  Keep going.
So, how could that be worse than what currently happens on the altcoin exchanges?

Also, if you ever want to succeed (and break out of the PnD stupidity of Mintpal etc.), i agree that the only way is EASY real world adoption. You need to have simple ways for "normal people" to accept as well as cash out BC (of course the price would rise if close to no one ever sold BC, but that would not be a currency but a collectors item Wink )

Accepting BC directly via webshops is actually made easy by coinpayments, cointopay as well as CoinKite, CoinKite can also offer the point of sale solution.

Using BC: CoinKite is making small but constant steps towards non-merchants using BC, and a customer debit card that converts coins will be another big step. There are also rumors about another massive step in that direction to be revealed soon.

If u look at say the bitcoin chart... or the blackcoin chart... etc the price goes up when the number of transactions go up.

So simply put the more its used the more its worth.

In this Bearish BTC environment it's all about survival.

The effects of BTC are always magnified on alt coins. If BTC takes a 10% tumble, alt coins drop a ton. If BTC goes up 100%, alt coins start tripling or quadrupling.

I think BC is one of the few safe harbours in alt coin land at the moment. Anyone selling now is either selling a loss (stupid panic) or is a really early holder who somehow has not sold much since the start (not many).

I'm feeling optimistic. BC has good brand recognition and lots of articles out there all over the internet. This will bring in a trickle of new investors over time, that can easily become a flood once we get momentum.

Blackhalo is undervalued, POS 2.0 hasn't gotten the recognition it deserves, there's tons of projects being worked on e.g. consis, things to look forward too like bittrex BC market pairing... BC is a dark horse and is undervalued right now.

Good to see you in this thread again Smiley

This is my first ever post but I needed to say something.

I have come back to BC today.

I was an investor in BC since April and jumped ship a few weeks ago and experienced what real shit coins are like. I am back and will never leave again but keep adding to my investment.

Long term this is a very good investment. DYOR. Look at all the innovation and think. Ignore the FUD.
