Finally an exchange that recognizes what a good alt is doing instead of sticking to pointless LTC sub-markets. This is amazing news. I am moving everything and solely using and supporting Bittrex now!

I'd like a 15k sat BC seller would come here to explain his trader strategy.
Very interested to hear the reasons for a sell position at that level after recent news.

http://www.cryptoarticles.com/crypto-news/bittrex-to-remove-litecoin-trading-markets-replace-them-withblackcoin

Quote
One of the main reasons why BlackCoin is considered as a candidate to replace Litecoin, is because of the sheer amount of services they have developed/are developing. BitTrex want a digital currency which is not only fast, but also innovative and secure.

In order for this change to happen enough liquidity needs to be provided. All BlackCoin holders and traders are advised to move funds from all other exchanges over to BitTrex. We will keep you updated in regards to this situation.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Everyone who's been here for a long time will remember how hard we campaigned to get BC/Alt pairs on exchanges. It's finally happening!! Ahh, so awesome. Move volume to Bittrex!  Grin

For anyone who hasn't got any BC or has run out of money, I'm running a little Reddit competition to win up to 1000BC (please direct all entries there):
http://www.reddit.com/r/blackcoin/comments/2bohws/1500_bc_giveaway_guess_the_price_ends_235959_31st/

Remember that Reddit really is more the hub these days than BitcoinTalk in case you feel like you're missing out or that it's quiet here.

Good luck! You have until Monday 23:59:59 UK time to enter.

you can buy BC directly with at least two dutch services, i used them both myself for BTC as well as BC (since they offer "Sofort" and/or "GiroPay" for German customers too), LiteBit offers BC since April, if not earlier:

https://anycoindirect.eu/buy/blackcoins

https://www.litebit.eu/

Ok, cool  ! Thanks for those links  Cool

Do you also know how close these sites are to the actual BC value at any given time ?
For instance Bitonic seems to have a fee of about 2,5% on the BTC price.

This because I also noticed the site cryptokopen.eu and those guys seem to sometimes charge 3 times the current market value for a coin. Noticed it with NXT one time on that site, but other prices also seem to be ripp offs.

Are the sites you mentioned always close to the actual price ?
To be fair usually not - to low volume on BC.
but if someone forgot change price you can get -30% market price.

actually both sites are pretty live with the price updates, i guess they are using one of the exchanges APIs.
I figured that it is usually better to go for BTC and then buy BC on an exchange unless the price is fluctuating heavliy.

I just checked anycoindirect, when MP had 0.00016607 as last price anycoin sold at an effective price of 0.00016990, a minute later at 0.00016870 so it is roughly between 1.5% and 2.5% there as well.
edit: added to it, it updated while i was typing

no worry biggest whales where dumping... in fear of crash to 8k-10k
Interesting enough that no one who did not already have his coins on the exchange seems to have sold (a significant amount).
My wallet positions did not move a single spot in the last days.

http://www.blackcoin.co/news/571/blackcoin-making-move-to-become-market-on-bittrex

So the most important thing is.....

"After recent discussion with Bittrex, they have proposed to drop their LTC market in favour of BlackCoin."

So traders will be buying BC to buy shit coins!!!! Epic!

- As a Dutch user, I always buy my BTC through a site (Bitonic.nl) that offers BTC to be directly paid online through my bankaccount. This system is called IDEAL. To me it seems that this is not a really complicated website to built for some who knows what they're doing.
For some reason though, this still only exists for BTC and I think creating a similar site for BC would be a guaranteed succes for both the manager of the site, as well as for BC, because it can then be directly bought with EU. (at least in the Netherlands)

Wouldn't be surprised if it's just a ploy by bittrex to try and get some more trading fees. The BC owned exchange sounds better.

Yeah this idea should should not be abandoned. But a BC based market on a popular exchange would add value to the coin, so it is good as well.

And it wont be... Creator wrote that they had been testing DRK and some other markets...
and now they will polish front end i don't think that there is something to worry about.
It should come sooner than later.

Good is that people creating business around BC.
