--Traveled to Washington D.C. to answer many questions about BlackCoin, network and get new people to help BlackCoin (Talked to a Forbes writer, Dark News, Coin Telegraph. Did some voluntarily with support and funds from the Foundation/Community -- but still had to pay some out of pocket and Im a poor broke recent college grad who can't afford to feed himself sometimes. (graduated Mid-may)
-- Got a provider to create a ATM BlackCoin, sitting on that right. -- Obtained a partnership with CryoBit for cold storage cards.
-- Creating a BlackCoin centric social hub for open communication and discussion
-- Wrote the Mission Statement/Charter jointly with Vizique for BLKFoundation.org (http://blkfoundation.org/mission.php)
-- Write announcements and proofreading/editing content from within the community
-- Reaching out to private developers such as BlackWaveLabs to help garner partnership, and helped them find a graphic designer (WulfCastle)
-- Got BlackCoin accepted a TeenAIDS.org ( a non-profit for HIV/Aids Prevention)
-- Conduct interviews and hold discussions with interested parties in BC
There! Theres just a small tidbit of what I do/have done in order to get BlackCoin out there and noticed. I'm sure there is much more, but that isn't the point.
Is your list expansive like mine? If its not, it should be. If you're a holder you're more than just an investor. You're a part of something small, and great.
Let's talk about how we can help continue moving the community and this digital currency forward. Sitting around with our thumbs up our proverbial asses does nothing

Blackcoin developers don't set announcement dates to let whales abuse them and pump and dump, we just release good code. We want steady sustainable growth and overtime this has been true.

why come blackcoin value dropping, should go so high with rat4 hard work
in altcrypto world, you need hype to create pump and dump
that's all. nobody cares about hard, honest work, adoption and much talk. talk is all blackcoin has right now. no hype, no volume
and many people are ok with that

PnD groups are interested in making natural +600% ROI in week when coin is stopping rising in week period they are off
start FUD ext... Not many REAL investors are going into add to all mintpal STEALTH ADDs... motly coin with low community ext
they add them because of Volume(that one can be easy manipulated).
Prove Mintpal had 10000 BTC with BC pump 6000 with Cinni pump 7000BTC with DRK pump...
today have 1800 like bittrex...(and bittrex had 300 BTC now 1800 )
And now you see REAL demand on BC vs IT features ext.
Not many REALinvestors left rest are scamming each other...
This is real price/suply demand ATM.But when you look at PPC Doge LTC chart WE ARE GREAT COIN
Also to many after BC stopped rising went to clones and were burned...
Personaly i keep my BC from 1st day mining i don't have plan sell them in close future.

You need to learn value coin - BC at sick jump @90k ...Many people were investing in future BC was 1st POS after POW...
Expectations were high !... today to be honest BC community and Devs around are delivering promises.

there's still people left who are willing to sell low, clever buyers won't push the price up as long as that happens. I did not expect to have orders filled at 20,19 and 18k, but i am OK with it 
If you look at the volume, there are not many people left who are willing to sell that low anymore, it just needs one "spark" to go up.
More and more coins are removed from the exchanges and are staking, that is certainly a good sign.

We are not afraid to release our code open source because we believe in transparency, open source design, peer auditing and decentralized systems. This is what made bitcoin good and this is what makes blackcoin good.
Not to mention that, at some point, the technical requirements for actual integration of those new technologies into new or existing 'copy clones' surpasses the abilities of the "devs" involved to reliably implement and maintain them. To me that is an unspoken but very significant value-add in support of holding BC long term. I've seen it in a variety of technologies over the years - sure Microsoft is able to acquire almost any competitor and integrate/rebrand their software as their own... but rarely (if ever) is it as stable, secure, or efficient as it was when it was under the control of the original devs.
How many coins have come begging for rat4 to take a look at their coin, or help them with some problematic aspect of their implementation of his code? How many have been based on a nearly identical implementation - only to go nowhere, or get pumped and die almost immediately? How many have been obvious scams, and how many have been less obvious - but wound up being scams anyway?
The price of BlackCoin will most certainly go higher (and likewise may go even lower as well unfortunately). What the price is on a given day worries me a whole lot less than the possibility that I will wake up to find that the dev has dumped their holdings and run for the hills, or that a secret premine has been discovered wiping out 70-80% of it's value overnight. That's something that many holders of competing clones have experienced first hand! Prices can be manipulated and volatile - and in an unregulated market, they will be - the stability of the platform itself is already better than the majority of the coins out there (including BTC in all honesty).
When you have that kind of stability and innovation - it breeds similar results from other talented developers... and that is exactly what we've been seeing over the past two months. Regardless of whatever price the bots and whales are forcing on the exchanges... some of the best developers in crypto (IMO at least) have been slowly gathering behind us - and even if it takes a year for the get-rich-quick cryptofools to run out of money and patience... eventually we will come out on top, and the price will soon follow.

Alt-currencies were supposed to be a proving ground for new ideas, and now all the ideas are being held in closed source, with no community development, no public auditing and these developers should be shamed for these practices. They are all forking a project that was developed completely in the open and it hurts the community to push the closed development that way. It is sad that I have to argue for open source development in a community that is entirely built around an open source project. I would not trust any anonymity code that has not been community audited.
Pavel improves the PoS protocol completely in the open, his entire git history there for everyone to see. You can even see the project was forked from Novacoin. This kind of transparency is what is respected by talented open source developers who want to contribute to cryptocurrency.
You are right with this, and although i earn a living with closed source software (not my own company) i am a FOSS supporter since i started.
The core functions and security relevant basics of a coin must always be open source, everything else would be nonsense.
However i can fully understand that e.g. David does not release the source code of his BlackHalo/BitHalo suite _immediately_ (he agreed to have it audited by experts though if i am not wrong, and considers to make it open source some day). Like hours after he published the details about his idea other "devs" suddenly had similar or identical projects in the pipeline, and his months of work would just result in shitcoin devs being all over it, forking or stealing + rebranding it, make it a little more fancy looking. 99% of the crypto people who demand open source from the "leading innovators" will never improve something existing or join a project as developer but try to make effortless profit with a clone that will soon be abandoned but "hurts" the original by taking away attention, investors and volume. It is sad, but that's how it is.
