This is a very nice closing of 2016 ! I hope that 2017 will be the year that everybody realises that BLK is one of the most solid and fastest crypto's out there and that the price will finally start showing that as well.

I don't part with it because the community wants to see Blackcoin successful. There are things far more important than money. I don't just work in BLK but also BTC and BAY. There is nothing wrong with maintaining 3 projects. I believe in finishing what I've started.

If you even bothered to download BlackHalo and see how great it is you wouldn't say any of that. It's got more features than anything else in crypto.

i know the posts here have become less and less legible but for the most part i have always attributed it to foreign posters and younger/newly interested patrons to bitcoin.

i don't think i can chalk any of that up to your situation though..

A pile of poo under ur frontal lobe doesnt realize ur cockroach hodlers exited from blacky the minute they left the bay assuming a fair percentage of them held both. Who would wish to stay in and defend a product marked by davids urine. His involvement in both bay and blacky under the guise of being a developer - not an insider - netted him sizeable gains at the expanse of a lion chunk of repo. Though I see him frequent at posting in both threads, and maintaining bay github repo respectively despite he doesnt get paid. What makes him active coinmaintainer is beyond me. Hes got a cliche on his neck due to which hes recognized mostly like bay associate, but seemingly doesn want to part with it. I dont know why.

wasent there big controversy with wizkid too making a fuss about the direction devs were taking and priorities.

what a bunch of bullshit this comment is. Everyone who followed that project and had a half brain knows Bobsurplus/Gekko and BTER were the ones to screw investors. There wasn't a shred of evidence for me to do anything wrong(including pumping) even with weeks of chat logs prostituted on bitcointalk. And the news also defended me (even Ian Demartino failed at finding anything of value and he clearly wanted to write a propaganda piece). And as for Bitbay, I still work on that project at a diminishing return (so where is the scam) and have committed over 10,000 lines of code to Halo in total being 20,000 lines of custom code in the main and another 20 in the GUI. Also my Blackcoin address is still at 300k coins even after years, I deliberately didn't sell my coins to let you guys cash out. So anyone who thinks that here is wrong. I'm so tired of propaganda, I work way too hard for so little.

Also, I've always been hard core Blackcoin. It's just that nobody really did anything about the decentralized markets that you guys have and let syscoin pass us which makes absolutely no sense since we had decentralized markets a year before them or OpenBazaar. First off, it would have been nice to have people testing it. The only people who even cared to test them were in Bitbay. I realize that investors want to move from one coin to another however in Blackcoin we actually have tangible products with an extremely advanced client. Why didn't anyone bother to market it? I can't code and market you know.

And again not to reiterate, but the cold staking update will be out within a month. I'm currently testing voting for miners and exotic spending such as locktime support in the GUI.

Satoshi was a group of people surely, I think it'd be too much temptation for just one person to handle.   At the start sure and then after some years getting closer to retirement thinking well I deserve this for my work :p    
Black box software engineering I guess, each member would have a modular component to the project including access to reserves only by consensus.    So I guess if they all came back  and if one had not passed away or delibrately thrown away his section of the key then we might see tons of bitcoin flood into circulation.   Still might happen but I guess this was a pre destination keyed into launch.

Blackcoin I thought maybe staked offline or thought I read that might happen at some point though that doesnt quite make sense if POS and the wallets are the network and utility to the coin.  I must be remembering wrong, I guess I'm still surprised if exchanges arent making cash this way.   Probably too much of a security risk, pity cryptsy didnt think similarly
