I usually getting blk using my laptop (it have GTX 850M). produce about 2.5MH/s of X11

last day i tried something different
my laptop produce 4.7MH/s(!!) of quark algo.
i tried solo mining other coin (SRC) trading in btc38. selling for CNY and buying BLK
made me 13 BLK (i call it black p2p gold)  today and not even using BTC to buy. only mining altcoin and CNY trade

can probably do the same with coins trading in Jubi

It was Malwarebytes Anti-Virus that was blocking the Blackcoin client.

There is no minimum amount required for staking, but with only 500 BLK you are not likely to find many blocks. Even at the current low network weight you were suposed to find about 1 out of ~20,000 blocks so that would make 2-3 BLK/Month (== ~8-10% interest due to static POS reward with v3). If all coins were staking it would be like 10% of that (== 5BLK/year == 1% interest).

start over with an empty folder and just the bootstrap (move wallet.dat to another folder). Use latest 1.2 BLK, it will will import/reindex the bootstrap.dat and then sync the remaining blocks from network.  Afterwards you can close the walletqt and copy back your wallet.dat (replace the freshly generated one), run the walletqt again, it will take a moment as it will rescan and load the wallet you just copied back.

Make sure your ant-virus isn't putting the blk0001.dat in quarantine. I was having trouble too, and found out my antivirus didn't like something that was added to the blockchain. Since blk0001.dat is not an executable, it shouldn't harm you computer. You may need to whitelist the file.

the debug.log file is filled with errors, but at block 751......and it always stops at 136391 or 136392......

Does the logfile show any errors at all? You could try to contact rat4 via IRC (#blackcoin @ freenode IRC)

If everything else fails: Backup everything, then you could try to export your private key, set up a completely fresh wallet, import your key into the new wallet, rescan.

However, I do give people source for building that they can audit and can supply instructions for building. The only thing I change is some of the variable names so the code is harder to clone. If you want building source, pm me or send me an email.
