Just wanted to let everyone in here know about our dedicated staking hardware. Save electricity, and increase your coin's security, get them off of your home computer, and onto the StakeBox. Check it out at stakebox.com. Go ahead, get your long term support cred, buy the device meant to stake your coins for the long haul.

Seems expensive for a staker.
Half price and even better:  http://blockchaintechs.com/

And they even have a contest going.  (only 3 days left!!)
You can win a free staker for as little as 1 entry.
Super cheap, as you can grab some for only 900 satoshi right now!!!!
What a deal!!

Which product does BLK? The custom staker doesn't have it as one of the options. I would gladly buy one.

Any reason why prize is skyrocketing ? Like I mean there is no reason at all that it should rise , but also no reasons that it shouldn't  Wink

interesting ideas.
though i dont see why there cant be many multiple coins on one 'staker' like one HDD can run plenty of nodes.

There can be. The blockchaintech one can have many coins installed!!!
They initially advertized that one as being ready for BLK, if this is still their website it does no longer show BLK or other significant PoS coins anymore, actually the site ain't working at all.

That's what "other" means. You can have any POS coin installed.
thanks!

And the website works...
Maybe it is messed up by one of the plugins in my FF, none of the buttons "does" anything. I can just enter something in the "other" box and that's basically it. Will try with a different browser later.

Subtuppel is very very mad ATM. since you provoked him... and him being busy suppressing ALL my messages, (since he probably has been given the instruction not to ban me...) even those containing 'informative' stuff

https://www.reddit.com/user/fmasta_

He's the kind getting easily frustrated, showing lots of love and worshiping, as well as disproportionated hate.
Isn't in ?

But I still love you, my SlutLittlePoop. Wouldn't exist without you

"Yobit pump alert software" Link in my signature!
I have a kncminer that I have been trying to mine scrypt-N on the black multipool. Ive mined every scrypt-n coin there is , and never had issue except for the black coin multipool. Whats strange is on my side it shows full scrypt-n speed around 150 Mhs, then after about an hour I look at the blackcoin multipool stats and is shows 2kh speed. Im using 11 as my scrypt-n setting, that has always worked on all scrypt-n coins. Then I thought , well maybe black coin , doesnt want asics on their pool, then when when I google "kncminer blackcoin multipool", I get 4700 page results about blackcoin multipool actually giving away a KNCminer Titan with scrypt-N support. So im not sure what this all means. Is there a different setting I need to use? Ive tried from 11-16 , and speeds still horrible. I have created 2 support tickets about this on the multipool over the past month with no response.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Since stakebox seems to be banned and unable to respond I am copying his response from another thread here. It would seem someone didn't like the competition.

Interesting, I never saw their product. At first glance it would seem that you are half right, it does initially appear to be half the price, not sure what you think makes it's better though. The half price appearance falls apart when you attempt to order one. First, it seems that there is no way to actually get one for $50. Clicking on the custom configured staker option the price quickly changes to $60, that will get you the staker with an 8 GB micro SD and one wallet of the 4 coins that you can select, it doesn't even include a case. It is hard to make an apples to apples comparison between this product and ours, as 2 wallets seems to be the most they allow for and they seem to charge $5 per wallet. The prices they list also don't include shipping, a power supply, or the ethernet cable we include with the StakeBox. The closest comparison would have to be their 16 GB staker with 2 custom wallets, a case, and US shipping comes to $93. Then you have to go get a power supply and ether
net cable, lets say you get those things for $7, which seems reasonably inexpensive, you are at $100, the same cost of our product. I would argue that the availability of more wallets, and the lack of a need to source the power supply and ethernet cable would make our product the better deal.

That said, I don't mean to bash their product. It's just that if you want to make a more objective comparison, there it is.

Talking crap about another product doesn't come across very professional.   This scene is smaller than you think.

I would personally not buy such a device as i have several servers running 24/7 anyways.

If i understood it correctly, the part that makes that specific staking device more expensive than just a preconfigured raspi or so is, that it comes with a custom and easy to use web interface for the wallets. Could be useful for not-so-tech-affine people, i think that would be a very small market though (at least as of today).
