Ninja announcement?

The anon wallet was discussed in IRC during April/May last year and it was decided to be separated from the main wallet. Also, soepkip announce that on bitcointalk (the moderated thread) during June last year. Although the project does no made much progress during that time, The Black Chamber Dev Group was formed and announcement was made on reddit during November last year.

So despite of the announcement on various channels over a year, and you still called it a ninja? It must be a very slow ninja then.

Regarding why this wallet is not included in the Official wallet. The answer is simple. It is not part of the core protocol.
The same goes with SPV wallets in BTC. SPV is part of bitcoin protocol, but it is not included in the Bitcoin-core.

That was very lame pump which again proved that nobody gives a shit about anon technologies and again some pump group used this news to make some mini profit. Going back down to 4-5K now.

There has been suffiecient time to gather some cheap Blackcoin (almost one month). There was also sufficient time to move your coins from wallet to exchange(even back and fort quite many times) after the announcement and before price peaked. Don't understand why you are complaining. Stealth is an option, not mandatory. I guess that's why it is separate from the wallet.

yeah, bad bad developers, they did not ask you for permission. The thing has been announced months ago and (as with every BLK project) there wasn't an ETA. Not their or anyones problem that you did not make it to the subreddit within the last 10 months.
But keep moaning and accusing everybody instead of doing anything yourself. I am actually surprised that it took so long until someone complained and I fully understand why the developers could not even be bothered to post in this forum at all.

This is new stealth launch looks more or less like a Ninja new announcement in order to make the price rise and therefore make the assholes who post this news will profit from it

If stealth is going to be part of Blackcoin then it should be included in Official wallet.

Ninja launch such as what has happened today is not going down well to with me. I have over 1Million BC and will not hesitate to put further Ninja launches in it's rightful place!

So, does this basically obsolete other methods of anonymous transactions?  And since it is open-source, this could be adapted to any coin, no?  - Theoretically, yes, but each coin is different. It  takes time, skill and expense to adapt for each coin.

What is the difference between this and DarkWallet?  The principles are the same, but Obsidian works and it uses BLK instead of BTC.  BLK is of course faster, Proof-of-Stake and can be used alongside a working smart contract system, BlackHalo.  I just waited nearly an hour for a first confirmation for BTC earlier this evening.  That doesn't happen with BLK and its 66-second max confirmation times.

In addition to the documentation on stealth wallets in the Obsidian announcements, review David Zimbeck's videos and posts on Halo.   Also, using BLK with Obsidian and Halo/NightTrader does not rely upon nodes or other central points to achieve anonymity.

Nah, the BLK approach has always been -> Anon yes, but not on core protocol level, that's different from DRK. It's also not new with Block 1 in 02/2014 ;-)
But you can not only have anonymous transactions but also smart contracts with BLK now, DRK does not offer that.
